Lawrence Mikos, known as Butch started this business when he was 24 in the alley between Fairview and Yard Ave back in 1978. For the first 30 years Butch spent his days designing, manufacturing and installing: fire escapes, residential railings, commercial railings, gates, fences, security bars and doors, air conditioner cages, structural steel, handicap railings, and much more.

I gave Butch a $2,625.00 deposit on November of 2017 today is July 11, 2019. He has not done any work at all and when I call and actually reach him, he tells me that he will be out in a few days to get the project started. I've given him every opportunity but today is the day that I contact my lawyer.

Love the final product that Butch's guys installed today. It's clean looking, a great color match to our house, and custom-built to be exactly what we hoped for. Butch was good about helping us think through the design issues up front and we felt the price was very reasonable. The only reason I didn't give 5/5 was that from beginning to end the process took longer than we expected.

Ok to be honest the place looks like a dive and very suspicious. However I went inside anyway and was greated by the worker. He was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. He taught me about railings and took my information down for the owner to come out and give estimate. Looking forward to final product if the price is right. I left there feeling comfortable about their work.
Two weeks later my new railings were in the work was done quickly and they cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased they look great

Butch was referred to me by a friend, had a few misses in getting in touch, but one we were able to connect everything was easy.
Butch came by, gave me estimate that was fair. Told me three weeks for railing to arrive, I got it in 5 days. Even though I had not paid final payment, while I was out they installed beautiful railing. What a pleasant surprise it was when I got home.
