The Emergency Department at Palmdale Regional Medical Center is the largest ER in the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys. It plays an essential role in meeting the urgent healthcare needs of more than 70,000 Antelope Valley residents each year. In addition to providing high quality emergency medical care for serious illnesses and injuries, our staff also treats minor injuries, such as cuts and bruises.

Honestly, other than the scheduling problem and being so late to do my surgery, everything was great. The staff were all incredibly nice and very helpful. From the lady who checked me in to my admitting nurse and check out nurse, everyone was fantastic. The anesthesiologist was amazing. Woke up feeling rested and having no idea they had done surgery. As far as having to do a surgery, it was a much better experience than I expected.

The staff is great and friendly. The reason for 4 stars is for the wait time.. Check in with nurse n wait to b called. They call u for lab work etc n wait again. Than call again n wait. Than call to register n get ur coverage as to what's covered or payment arrangements.. Which I like that u don't have to pay full amount.. Again the staff is great n friendly but the wait needs to improve...

Only gave them 2 stars because the IV they put in me really messed up my arm for about a week it was swollen too twice it's normal size, also the vein they used is still hard as a rock 1 month later. However they did give me a diagnosis, which AV was not able to give me, going into both hospital's having lost 1/2 my blood, AV sent me packing with "we don't know what's causing it." Also with no restrictions & to resume normal activities, but Palmdale had no problems diagnosing my condition, as well what to do in order to prevent it from happening again. For that I'm very grateful.

I’ve left a previous review about an experience so absurd, I should’ve retained an attorney. HOWEVER, I’ve been treated in the E.R once since then.
Night & day experience. Both visits for the same exact thing (seizure) The physician & RN made the ALL difference last time. Thank you!!
Put in a room immediately vs sitting in hallway on gurney
Was not yelled at when I couldn’t speak
Monitored for the short proper time vs sent home from the hallway care
Proper diagnosis vs a ridiculous diagnosis

Wait time is ridiculous. Lobby is too full. The order in which they call patients needs to be worked on. Once inside doctor sees you for a minute tells you what he’s going to prescribe and you’re good to go (if you don’t need any treatment done at the moment). Though there is this nurse that has taken care of my treatments that has done an awesome job, I can’t remember her name but I won’t forgot her face. Thank you to her my visit becomes better.

Went in for a bone marrow biopsy that was ordered by my doctor. Having never had one before, I was rather nervous and scared about the procedure. However, everyone was absolutely amazing - from the COVID test to admitting, to before/after the procedure - everyone was patient, understanding, and extremely helpful. They really cared that I was comfortable and updated on what was happening. Amazing people!

Everyone was very kind and professional. My surgical team all came and talked to me and made sure I understood everything that was happening and that I was comfortable. My surgery went great, and my back pain was relieved instantly! My left leg works again! I walked a mile later that night!
