Gregg E. Sawyer, President & CEO - born and raised in Pasco County provides a combination of formal training and 42 years of hands-on field experience is the founder and head of this team. Gregg graduated from LSU majoring in Architecture, has a Florida Building license since 1983, and Alabama Building license since 2008.
Gregg has been a consultant, plan designer, project manager, and Director of Operation for several building contractors. Gregg was also a teacher for Pasco County specializing in design and construction, consisting of the preparation of architectural building plans, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and site code requirements.

Vision Builders Group & Development, Inc. was founded by Gregg E. Sawyer in March of 2006, as a Certified Building Contractor, and is recognized throughout the area as a commercial contracting firm, commercial remodeling, general remodeling, custom homes and design and build services to name just a few.
Once your initial consultation is complete, before we break ground, you will have a series of pre-construction meetings that involve the selection of your custom home's exterior and interior features and amenities. We will also set expectations for the Florida custom home building process.
Once the foundation is laid and we begin erecting the frame of your Florida custom home, we will hold a building orientation meeting to orient you with the construction features of your custom home, such as the landscape grading and property elevation.Either weekly or bi-weekly, you will meet at the construction site to review the progress of the construction on your new custom home.

Designing your Florida custom home from the ground up is a large undertaking. This collection was photographed in May of 2019. This is the initial & most important phase of construction. This home is built on a stem-wall. This type of construction is different than a traditional monolithic slab. The concrete is added in 2-phases. The phase you see below is the footing & steel phase.
