Michael Brone, DC has been one of the leading providers of professional acupuncture services in Eastern North Carolina since 2006. Dr. Brone is also a well-known former provider of chiropractic medical services established in 1992. The Atlantic City, New Jersey native, earned a petroleum and natural gas engineering degree from Penn State.
We offer Classical Chinese acupuncture using sterile stainless steel ultra-thin needles that are applied according to the laws of the five elements. Multiple systems may be used in a session including auricular therapy, scalp, Korean hand, laser and electro-acupuncture. A low-frequency electrical impulse is applied to the needles once they are inserted in the.

I had my first appointment yesterday with Dr. Brone yesterday and I am amazed how well I feel today. I recently had cervical disk replacement surgery and had a lot of numbness and tingling in my left hand/arm as a result. I was miserable and not sleeping well. My goal was to use acupuncture to loosen up some of the tightness in my neck and shoulder but Dr. Brone took a more "whole body" approach and focused on the imbalance in all my Meridians. The result was immediate pain relief and a lot of the numbness in my arm is gone. I slept so well last night and feel so much better in general

I went to see Dr Brone today in such pain my left shoulder blade was hurting so bad & sending muscle spasms everywhere. I had texted him and someone canceled so my luck was good
I walked in bent over in pain (he use to treat me for lower back pain) And he used his machines which basically tells you what’s out of wack (I would call it an easy MRI it tells you what’s going on in your body for one: where your pain is coming from Thank You Dr Brone I was able to walk out of the office standing straight up with no pain as you always do. Thank You again sorry I can’t stop thanking you but pain

Came in after dealing with lower back and hip pain that kept me up at night and would not settle from stretching. Just had my first acupuncture appointment with Dr. Brone yesterday and for the first time since Covid, had the best nights rest! I suffer from chronic back pain and severe Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). I have sought out acupuncture treatment in the past, however now living on the southern end of the island I needed to find someone locally. After going to the Balanced Meridian website and reading the great reviews I decided to give Dr Brone a try. Not thrilled about driving over hour to get there I am now glad I did so. Dr. Brone is professional and very knowledgeable and skilled. He is very personable and I felt comfortable speaking with him discussing my health issues. I traveled to the Outer Banks with my 80 year old mother this month for the first time. We had such a great time, until I stubbed my big toe one evening on concrete. As a bodyworker movement educator, my own body is my tool and when things go wrong it's quite scary. I researched a few practitioners of various modalities in the morning, Dr. Brone text me within the hour of leaving a message and saw me that afternoon. Arrived in the Outer Banks with severe back pain. Due to the pain, I had not slept in four nights. I tried massage and other remedies. I am so happy that our of desperation, I called Dr. Brone. My pain diminished after one visit; more than that, after the second visit, the pain was completely gone. Dr Brone is professional and kind... and obviously talented and skilled. Also, I'm sleeping better than I have in years! I will be returning next summer for a tune up (and have already found an acupuncturist close by where I live full time--hoping she will be as good--we shall see).

I visited Dr. Brone because I had pain in my chest what felt like nerve damage and because of my lower back pain. He was very concise explaining and walking me through the process of acupuncture. It's very affordable and it was very relaxing and at the end of the session I left feeling healthier. If you are experiencing any kind of sickness from anything small to anything large, you owe it to yourself to go and get at least one session.

Went to see Dr. Brone for a knee pain that I hurt running and playing with my kids on the ground. I went to Urgent Care and did an Xray. Nothing was broken and was told to do an MRI but I went to Balanced Meridian instead. Dr. Brone has an amazing acupuncture therapy. He measures your points of meridians with a pretty cool gadget you hold on your hand, he has another one that he points at the meridians point on your body, and it shows results on a computer screen.
