Your spine, which is made up of 24 moving vertebrae (7 cervical, 12 thoracic and 5 lumbar), allows for movement of your neck and back and also houses and helps protect your spinal cord. All of your spinal nerves branch off from your spinal cord and exit from in-between each vertebral articulation, branching and traveling throughout the rest of your body.
Massage therapy is a method of manual therapy that works to sooth and relax contracted or tight muscles. This type of treatment has been used for hundreds of years as a healing method, for decreasing tension and also for those who just want to feel better after a stressful day. Emotional, physical and chemical stresses can cause our muscles to become irritated and contracted.
We are dedicated to providing Wellness Care for our patients. Our contribution involves spinal adjustments, massage therapy, fitness programs tailored to your abilities and nutritional advice to help maintain your good health. What is wellness care? Quite simply, just as stated above, obtaining health and then maintaining health to prevent disease or dis-ease.
Your first visit to the doctor's office will tell you the condition of your spine and also when to expect to feel relief from your condition. Here are some common questions new patients have asked us. A: Chiropractors examine the spine for mis-aligned vertebrae. They do this in order to find out where spinal joints are not functioning correctly.
We are an Exclusive Care Provider for Riverside County Employees and our office accepts most insurance plans. However, each patient's chiropractic benefits may vary, so please bring in your insurance ID card for verification. A large portion of our practice is private-pay, meaning patients pay out-of-pocket for treatment received by us.

First time here and I had such a great experience! I am hard of hearing and the front staff and doctor were so accommodating. Laura helped me schedule an appointment through email and I believe she was the one in the front to let everyone else know about my disability (since I expressed it to her in the email communication) without making me uncomfortable about it. That is so rare and I am extremely thankful for that. Because of her and the amazing doctor who already helped to alleviate some of my back pain I will be a forever client. HIGHLY recommend.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Custode for over 5 years! Great staff, masseuse’s and Chiro Adjustments.
He really listens to his patients and focuses on wellness. I always leave happy and feeling great! Appointments can sometime fill up quickly. It must be because he’s so popular!
