Gwen has been doing hair for over a decade and thrives on giving her clients more good hair days. Taking the time to learn about each guest and their hair helps her find the perfect cut, color and techniques to compliment the individual's lifestyle. Gwen specializes in fine hair and low-maintenance color but is well versed in all textures and color applications.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Rachael was surrounded by creative people that gave her a passion to live visually and think with her hands. While she had considered pursuing both science and architecture, she found a hybrid of both in hair where she creates beautiful cuts and formulates customized color tailored to each client.
Robyn has been doing hair since 2007 and has had a passion for expressing her creativity with color ever since. In 2012 Robyn found herself training with DevaCurl and has since became a Level 3 Master DevaCurl stylist, the highest level of education you can achieve. Her favorite aspects of being behind the chair include a combination of enhancing your curls natural beauty and building meaningful connections with her clients.
When a beauty school opened up in Angela's neighborhood she couldn't resist the call to follow her dream and enroll. Two decades later she has perfected her cutting and coloring skills while working in high end salons in both Chicago and Los Angeles.

After graduating Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology in Seattle, Tori worked behind the chair for a few years before making her way back to LA where the weather perfectly matches her sunny personality. To fill her time outside the salon, Tori has found a balanced appreciation for snuggling her pets while watching true crime documentaries and the correct SPF when hanging at the beach.

Tori has done an amazing job with my hair. The color is so natural and long lasting and the cuts have been great for my fine hair. I have a great time chatting with her during the appointment since she's so down to earth and friendly. I'm a low maintenance kind of gal so I found Tori really approachable and helpful without being pushy or judgey of my style choices. I'm flexible so rescheduling a couple times during a global pandemic doesn't bother me.

Feeling like a new woman after leaving the salon with a fresh birthday cut and color with Angela! I had been a few months past due on my color refresh as I had been out of town for a bit. Booked an appointment with Torri and she has rescheduled it 3 times already. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and lack of consideration for my time. The second time she rescheduled I was actually at the hair salon, sitting on the chair and she asked what I wanted (as If we had not already discussed this via text. I had sent her pics of my current hair and the hair I hoped to achieve). I'm a black woman with naturally very curly hair and Robyn compared my hair to a rat's nest because it was tangled. She would not stop talking about how tangled it was. We ended up rescheduling the appt because she apparently couldn't work with the state of my hair, but I will not be coming back.
Would definitely not recommend, especially if you're a person of color.

I love ANGELA! She always makes my hair look great when I come in for a cut and color. I came in for the first time to Spruce & Cedar with literally no clue what I was looking for, I just knew I didn't love how my hair looked - Tori did a great job taking the time to work with me to figure out not only what color and style would fit me, but also to meet my low maintenance expectations.

Robyn is INCREDIBLE! I haven't had a haircut in a long time. My curls were dull and dry and my hair just looked frumpy. She was so diligent in doing the treatment on my hair and she cleaned my hair of all it's buildup. She gave me an amazing cut that increased my flat hair's volume by a TON. I left with my hair feeling so soft and my curls feeling bouncier than they have since I was a child. She took her time and constantly made sure I was happy along the way. She is a magician! I splurged and had Silvia do a whole treatment of toning and conditioning to bring out the natural silvery shine and also pull out some of the older color dye, and I have received so many compliments since!

This was the absolute best experience I've ever had at a salon! What Lenna did to my hair is nothing short of magical (see pics below). This is the first time in my 30 years that any stylist has been able to get my hair to this color and look this healthy. Lenna was also so easy to talk to and she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted at the beginning which I truly appreciated. I came here almost 3 years ago now to see Tori Hoffman for the first time and I can safely say I wouldn't go anywhere else for my hair [did once during quarantine and will never make that mistake again ;) ] Tori is amazing and finds the most creative ways to give my natural dark hair the most beautiful balayage look. Whether I want to go full blonde or root-smudged dark with soft sandy highlights, she tones my hair like a magician. She's also the sweetest human on the planet so appointments with her are lovely. I've been going to Angela for about two years now, and I will not trust anyone else with my color. She's fantastic! During my first appointment, she really took her time to understand what I was looking for and what I wanted to avoid. And it really paid off! I've never been so happy with my hair, and I refuse to go elsewhere. Angela is incredibly talented -- and if getting beautiful hair while in her chair isn't enough, she's super fun to be around as well!

I have always struggled to get my hair to do things: bettie bangs, beach waves, balayage, highlights, baby lights, the perfect toner, keeping my hair healthy. BEATRICE, the best . I follow her where she goes and she is amazing. She is patient, does not rush, does not over book herself she knows exactly how long you will need, of course if you are set with what you want for your hair.
