Based on the iconic musical storyteller's hit song (which combines three songs and stories in one and drew its inspiration from The Beatles "Abbey Road"), SCENES FROM AN ITALIAN RESTAURANT fuses Billy Joel's most popular hits with a captivating storyline around Brenda and Eddie-the paramours depicted in his beloved tune.
Join us for an intimate night as we span the hit songs and experience the life and career of this musical genius in allegory who single-handedly changed the course of the modern Broadway musical time and time again. From dynamic, high-energy hits to some of the most hauntingly-beautiful ballads in Broadway history, MUSIC OF THE KNIGHT has something to suit any musical appetite.
For over 50 years, the musical soundtrack of Julie Andrews has been indelibly imprinted on the hearts of generations. Darin was one of the most popular rock and roll teen idols of the late '50s, with his career taking off in 1958 when he wrote and recorded 'Splish Splash, selling more than a million copies. Other hits followed including "Dream Lover" and "Beyond The Sea." Propelled by the success of "Mack the Knife, " he broke attendance records at the legendary Copacabana, surpassing Frank Sinatra.
