Wally's HVAC, Inc. was established in 1983. Wally's commercial service and installations spanned from St. Joseph, MI, to Rockford, IL, and Lake Geneva, WI, to Joliet, IL. His clientele included grocery store chains, churches, schools, and builders of new homes and townhomes throughout this area. He has also worked on fitness clubs and factories in Chicago and the suburbs.
When Wally started his own business, he expanded into more residential work. He found that many of his relatives, friends, neighbors, and business owners needed home equipment care and decided to focus on consumer education, maintenance, and HVAC air quality control. Wally enjoys developing custom designed systems for both commercial and residential applications, and takes challenging problems head on.

Had my boiler go out on Christmas Eve eve, apparently wind caused the flame to char the fuse. Rick came Christmas Eve morning and found the problem almost right away. Quick, honest and professional and now we can start getting the house back up from 57 degrees! Thank you so much.

Needed repairs to my furnace. It tripped out overnight, and even though I know a bit about repairing furnaces, I could not figure this issue out. I called Wally's in the morning and they were at my home (over an hour's drive) within 2 hours. Their technician, Brian, was very courteous and knowledgeable. He asked what I tried repairing myself, and within 10 minutes, had the issued resolved and the furnace working perfectly.
Best service I ever had from ANY home repair outfit, and at 70 years of age, I've used quite a few. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I contacted this business when 2 furnaces at my rental locked out from start up sequence failure related to the flame sensor. I'm in another state so I could not troubleshoot the units myself so I searched for a trustworthy company. I found Wally's Heating and Air on Google and reached out. I worked in the HVAC trade for a few years and after talking to Wally I could sense his experience and professionalism which put me at ease. He arrived the next morning and had to deal with me, my tenants and the shady warranty company. He handled the situation perfectly which made a stress free experience

I called Wally on a Saturday for a Monday morning appointment as we were having issues with our HVAC system (our house fan and A/C stopped working). Service tech Bryan arrived promptly on that Monday morning and quickly got to work diagnosing the problem. Our HVAC system is about 16 years old and we were concerned with having to replace it outright. But Bryan was able to replace the parts necessary to allow for (hopefully) many more years of use, and explained in detail what had failed as well as the state of the rest of the system. I have personally known and worked with Wally and Rick for many years. On top of being top notch technicians their installations are done correctly, look good and work well. I found a sticker on the furnace to our new vintage house with their info so I called them for a breakdown. They solved the problem quickly and efficiently. Since then I have used them for many more repairs and updates to our state-of-the-art boiler connected to a 100-year-old house and also our two air conditioners.
The difference with Wally's is experience. Instead of paying for a lightly experience new technician you get decades of experience for the same price. An example of what this means. My air conditioner

On a hot day in August, my furnace started running full tilt. I couldn't get my thermostat to stop it, the temp in the house was 95F! A high profile plumbing/heating/cooling outfit I called came, inspected and gave me an estimate for a new furnace of $4,000. I told him I had others to talk to before making a decision.
