Michael and Josh also owned a flight hose shop manufacturing aircraft hoses for the commercial airlines for Titeflex and Parker Stratoflex before opening up Aero-Flex to handle the metal hose side of the industry.

Aero-Flex Corp. adheres to a rigorous multi-step cleaning and passivation process. When you weld stainless steel, the heat causes the material's residual carbon to rise to the surface. These carbon deposits can eventually cause rust on your welds, especially in the heat-affected zones. To prevent this future damage, Aero-Flex Corp. applies two separate acid washes to the weld zone, effectively "pickling" the joint.

There's a variety flexible metal hose manufacturers to choose from BUT its the method used to assemble the metal hose that's important. Flexible metal hoses usually don't break in the middle, they break at the hose weld.
Aero-Flex manufactures high temperature air & steam hose assemblies (high temperature flexible hoses) for a variety of applications. This corrugated and braided stainless steel hose gives the steam hose flexibility and is tough enough to handle extreme temperatures (high temperature air hose). These flexible steam hoses also have a vibration dampening effect to reduce wear and tear on equipment.
To properly design a flexible metal hose assembly for a particular application, certain parameters must be determined first. Sometimes you may have a drawing with all of this information already on it but if you don't we have a nifty way to remember what information we need to quote and fabricate your metal hose assembly.
