A trip to Oregon and a dog named Charlie led Mike and I into the world of alpaca farming. Charlie was a guard dog for a herd of alpacas located at the base of Mt. Hood. The farm's yarn advertisement grabbed my attention but Charlie and his herd of alpacas stole my heart. Over the next 4 to 5 years we researched alpacas, visited farms from Ohio to Oregon and asked tons of questions.

Finally, in 2010 we purchased our first alpacas. Caring for these incredible creatures and educating the public has become our passion. We have "talked alpacas" with thousands at the Oklahoma State Fair, welcomed visitors to our farm, attended school agricultural events and participated in county fairs.

Was not what we thought at all. Drove out after finding the reviews here and went to the door. Was told they are no longer a store. Owner also stated that the alpacas do not like people. Was just hoping to see the products I saw online and look at the animals. Guess that was not in the cards. The hours here are not accurate and this is not a buisness. Please do not disturb the nice lady living next to alpacas.

Absolutely love my socks from Mustang Creek Alpaca Company. Family members hint for gifts from here for their birthdays and Christmas. Great socks for hiking and the office!

My grand daughter, daughter and I spent a couple hours with Mike at Mustang Creek today. We had the best time. He answered all my questions and I had a bunch. My grand daughter loved feeding snacks to the alpacas. It's was a perfect afternoon. We started our adventure at their store. They have great items for reasonable prices. I will be returning for Christmas shopping.

Great place to visit when you are down in packin' town. Great products and knowledgeable staff. If you have questions about alpacas or need alpaca products, this is the spot. It is a bonus when they have a few live alpacas out front!
