Services
In 1953, forty-one road engineers and public works officials gathered in Frederick, Maryland to form an organization that would raise the technical standards of public service by exchanging ideas and discussing shared problems in county engineering. That organization became known as the County Engineers Association of Maryland (CEAM).
CEAM recently received a copy of the minutes from the first-ever meeting of the County Engineers Association of Maryland. Please take some time to review the minutes as they describe the creation of our beloved organization and also list the original membership. CEAM would like to thank Past President W. Stephen Young for providing these minutes to the CEAM Administrator to be shared with the general membership.
In this feature, CEAM hopes to spend a few minutes "catchin' up with" members from all over the State. This will be a great way to get to know your fellow CEAM members. CEAM: Tell us about your professional background (description of current position, previous jobs, schooling, etc.) Prior to that I spent over 21 years on active duty in the Army as an Engineer officer.
If your organization has a current job vacancy and would like to advertise the position on the CEAM Website, please e-mail your information (including job title, agency, and desired posting dates) to the webmaster. Please note: this employment site is not meant for private/consultant job opportunities.
Attend bi-annual conferences to learn about the latest technologies and developments in and around Maryland!. Learn how CEAM may be able to advocate for you or your organization in the State legislative process. Associate Member status - Granted to any private corporation or organization representative, including engineering consultants, contractors, and vendors.
