It sits alongside the Sabinal River, in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The winery which has been growing grapes and making award winning wines for 7 years, has recently sold to long-time employees Chris and Tori Sheridan.

Chris and Tori's love and passion for wine making can be seen in the lush vineyard and tasted in their wines. With the new ownership, Chris and Tori will be changing the name to Sabinal River Winery by the end of 2021. Same great wines, friendly service, and dedication to the craft. We had a great time here. The outdoor space was great and there was a live band (it was a Saturday evening). The crowd was fun. You can take your own food, try the wines and buy some to consume there or at home. The Symphonique was so delicious after the hot hike we went on.

We stopped by this little gem today while we are camping at Garner State Park. Beautiful grounds right on the Sabinal River. Nice dry wines and a couple lighter sweeter ones. Our server (can't remember his… name) was very knowledgeable and great company. There is a beautiful patio with tables and chairs and fans. As well as picnic tables under beautiful oak trees. There is a beautiful pond with chairs to sit and relax with a bottle as well as by the river. We enjoyed our visit as well as trying fresh grapes off the vine. Highly recommend a visit.

Enjoyed our visit today. Best part was meeting Danae and enjoying her freshly made charcuterie board with our wine. Makes a wonderful addition to the winery 🍷🧀🍇

Lost Maples Winery is a great boutique winery just two minutes from Lost Maples State Park. It’s the spot to go to relax after a nice hike (and to get away from the kids). The owners are great and know their stuff. They have a number of award winning wines so I had to take a bottle home. Due to the virus, wine tasting wasn’t available and I couldn’t drink by the nice pond but I’ll be back for that part!

It was a rainy Saturday, no one else was around. They closed the main building to visitors but had a table set up outside. They had all their wine varieties available to taste, and it was simple to choose which appealed to the palate. I wish the interior was open, it had smelled wonderful when I poked my head in.

We had a wonderful time visiting the winery. Super nice staff and with Covid19, what a great idea to have sitting areas under a tree by a pond for their customers to use. We brought a snack lunch to accompany our wine, and bought a few bottles to go. Oh, and after forgetting my Costa sunglasses, we went back the next day, and they found and returned them to me. Their honesty was so refreshing. 😊

We were camping and stopped by Lost Maples Winery because we saw it on the way. This was such a gem and treasure to find on our route. We did the flights, tasting every wine was incredible. Every wine was so full of flavor. We had the most amazing cheese plate that rivals any restaurant . We had a one-on-one discussion with the winemaker. We went outside to listen to the band that was playing on the patio, they were great. To top it off the owner went by every table and poured a glass of wine from their new Reserve that's being released. They have a beautiful little pond and they gave me fish food

This winery is very cute and quaint. Tom was a wonderful wine connoisseur and story teller. We are looking forward to our next visit, hopefully in the summer to see the vines in full swing. We stopped by before closing after a hike at Lost Maples and it was a highlight of our day.
The wine tasting is reasonably priced at 10 dollars to try 6 different wines with options for trying others. The wine was divine and the details given by Tom and the guide were spot on with the flavors. We had a great time!
