Services
Our handyman services are usually billed at an hourly rate, as seen in the chart below. We do have a one hour minimum charge of $60. We can also quote on a PER JOB basis, which is what most of our customers prefer. We want to help you understand as best as possible, your total costs including labor and materials so you can plan your budget.

Doug did a small patch job high up on the exterior of my house. Showed up when he said he would, got the job done for a reasonable price. Yes he's a California to Texas transplant, which explains "west coast" in the name of his business. Would recommend.

I don’t ever leave reviews but Doug is the guy who deserves it. I needed someone to help me with a leak I was having in my kitchen ceiling. It was a weekend and there was tons of traffic, Doug still came out to help me out. After a few hours we still hadn’t gotten to the bottom of the leak (I had several other people try to help me as well) and Doug wouldn’t charge me because he didn’t fix anything. Doug is an honest/outstanding handyman! My husband communicated with him about replacing our front door and he responded timely. He did great job replacing and adjusting the door until it operated to satisfaction. He is very detail oriented, didn't rush the job and charged a reasonable price. He even came out to check a water heater issue that suddenly popped up. We have already asked him to give us a quote on repairing some house skirting and extending our front porch overhang. If a rating above 5 stars could be given West Coast Handyman Services would get it. Doug is our go to for future repairs

I contacted Douglas about the install of a steel, storm door to replace an out dated aluminum door that was slowly being destroyed by my beloved pit bull mix. Bothered by the recent, stormy weather, he has been chewing on the aluminum frame. Douglas came by to survey the job and make sure we had all the proper materials for the job. If you are looking for someone to just get the job done, this is not the guy for you. If you are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and doesn’t take shortcuts, Doug is definitely your guy! You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and it shows in his work. I had a somewhat unusual request to change out our RV sink and faucet and Doug did an amazing job. I will be looking forward to using his services again!

Doug is awesome. Called him about repairs on my wood fence & he did a great time. He was very quick in responding to my text and to come give an estimate and do the repairs. Very friendly and trustworthy (very hard to find in this day and age). He was recommended by a realtor friend that does business with him and I was very pleased with his work. We needed a new back door hung and a doggy door installed in that new door. We called around, but we had difficulty finding someone willing to come out during COVID. Doug was so friendly and communicative. He came by the house and gave us a free quote and showed up exactly when he said he would to do the work. First, Doug responded to my call very quickly and he was able to fit us into his schedule the same day. He was very knowledgeable and did the job the correct way instead of taking short cuts. fixed a really bad door situation. He removed them and cleaned up well.
I thoroughly recommend his services. He charges more than some Handymen but is very experienced and worth the money!
