My wife called to make an appointment to get a massage, as she was in pain and needed a massage as soon as possible. She was advised that the 2 ladies doing massages were not in the spa when she called. My wife provided a call back number. My wife was advised that one of the gals would call her to make an appointment (the day she called or the next) for a massage. No call from either gal. No call from the lady taking the message. Nothing...nada.
Poor customer service. We cannot rate the massage unfortunately.....

I have been going to Essentials for all oat 2 years now. I could not live without my monthly massages from Erin. Erin is professional, attentive to those problem areas and I always leave with less pain than I went in with. I have recommended Erin to others and no one was disappointed in her professionalism. I have tried several massage therapist in Stockton and have found that several of them were always late, forgot appointments, and moved constantly (you know who you are). I highly recommend Erin and will be back in 2018.

I absolutely love this place! Natalia is incredible and does an amazing job with skin care and wax!
Words cannot express how amazing she is and how incredibly sweet she is! Natalia makes you feel extremely comfortable and has tremendous knowledge about skin care. Five stars for Marcie! Best cut and quality color in town! You won't find quality like this anywhere else and the price is absolutely reasonable. I am so appreciative of how accommodating Marcie is to schedule me later in the day/evening after I get off work. When I know she has been working hard on her feet all day, you'd never be able to tell by her smile, energy level and positive, fun attitude - as if I was her first customer of the day. I have never received as many complements on my hair that I have after Marcie has done blonde balayage. I also appreciate Marcie's honest product

Marcie at Essentials Salon is the best Hairdresser I have ever experienced! She always rescues my locks and brings them back to perfection. She has extended knowledge and experience with cuts and color. Marcie will take the time and care that is necessary to make sure the job is done right. The Salon is a very quite and comfortable environment that is easy to relax in. I would recommend Marcie and the Essentials Salon if you are looking for a place that will get it done right the first time.

Marcie Palmer is amazing! She did a beautiful hair paint with baby lights for me and I couldn't have been more pleased. She is professional and is wonderful with color and cuts! I really enjoyed my salon day with her and have already scheduled another appointment. I strongly recommend her at Essentials Day Spa & Salon.

Not very happy considering all the reviews.
I got a gel mani here 2 days ago. While the staff is nice, I don't have much positive to say after that.
I'll start with my main complaint: My nails have already chipped, NOT worth $30+tip! One nail on each hand. If this was a regular manicure, I'd say it's fine, but this is Gel which can usually last almost 3 weeks on my nails without chipping & i've had them done at a variety of places
Here are the rest of my complaints.
1. The color selection is extremely limited.
2. The manicurist considers shellac the same as gel

I recently received a gift card for a massage with Katey at Essentials Day spa. Prior to this I wasn't aware that this spa was in Lodi. I initially had a hard time finding it, but in driving around the parking lot I realized the spa is located upstairs and can be a little challenging to see if from street level.
The salon and spa are very nice and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Katey does an amazing job at massages and her room is beautifully decorated and is a restful, peaceful setting. I would highly recommend!

I have gotten about 7 massages here from Erin. She is absolutely amazing. I've lived in Lodi for about 5 years and have tried numerous people for massages, but after finding Erin I only go to her. She always works on my target areas, has strong hands, and is incredibly nice. She is always willing to give me pointers for massaging at home to relieve pain (ex: cramping or chronic lower back pain). She's even photocopied books for me on information on essential oils for pain relief. I recommend her to EVERYONE! She is reasonably priced and runs a lot of specials. I absolutely love her and
