The Law Office of Roy L. Scott opened its doors in 1998. At that time the office was ran by one attorney and one staff member. Today that number has grown to include wonderful support staff including Debbie with 20+ years experience and Jennifer with 15+ years experience, to uphold our commitment to our clients and their cases.
Mr. Scott was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas and has served his country in the United States Army. Following his time in the Army, Mr. Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University and soon after returned to obtain his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1984. Mr. Scott has an extensive background of work beginning his career as a prosecutor for the City of Midland.

Mr Roy Scott sure did do his job today! He supported his client 100% & the judge did not like it! I had never seen that before, in my life! I knew my gut feeling about hiring Mr Scott was correct! I wanted to go speak to him but he left quickly...please tell him how amazed & proud we are to have him as our Lawyer! The whole court room had their mouths dropped...I know he is going to be the best Choice we've made! Thank yall for all you are doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roy helped me with a custody case. His knowledge of the law and his ability to practice law is off the charts!! I was desperately wanting custody of my then 10 year old daughter and when tbe judge slammed his gavel down and said case closed, I walked out of the courtroom with custody of my daughter!!
