Pressure regulators are used to regulate the amount of incoming water pressure entering your sprinkler system to the recommended operating pressure of the drip or micro irrigation system. A regulator is needed to keep the water pressure in the sprinkler system regulated. If the water pressure becomes too great, it could damage the sprinkler system and create leaks or connections in the system that may fail.
Details: The FLD500 Break Away Flow Limiting Device is designed with an internal flow control to substantially reduce the amount of water loss in the event of a sprinkler riser breakage. The irrigation system remains operational and balanced even in the event of multiple breaks in the system. The FLD500 can be easily removed and replaced quickly to minimize system down time, water loss and maintenance costs.
