TLDR: The owner Kristy has poor communication skills and caused a nightmare situation for my friends and me. We would caution anyone to reconsider before working with her.
Leaving this review as a warning for others so that you don’t get into the situation I was in with the host. We booked a reservation with Kristy through VRBO and several days before our trip one of our friends who was set to go on the trip needed to drop out due to a death in her family. At this point we messaged Kristy and then left several voicemails explaining our situation and we didn’t hear from her for over 24 hours

I was a guest at a wedding that was held here. I had high expectations for the event... nice website, great view of Seneca lake, middle of nowhere... and while it did have great views and a nice outdoor space, I was underwhelmed with the rest of the experience.
Perhaps the single biggest thing that ruined the evening for me is that their air conditioner seemed to not be working. The day we were there it was close to 90° outside, and the venue was sweltering. We finally figured out how to open the windows, which helped as the sun started to set, but it was quite unpleasant having to eat dinner

I was in the bridal party at a wedding here and was less than impressed. The owner was very attentive to our bride and groom needs before the wedding, then essentially backed out on her word when day came. The day before, I watched her promise our bride that her staff would light candles, and set up a couple last minute decorations. Then when the other bridesmaids and I followed up she would say that's not my responsibility or decorations are not in my contract. I watched her promise the bride she would have chairs and a folding table brought over to her room for hair and make up the morning of

Our wedding was at the Estate, from planning, to decor to food, to everything, Kristy attended to our every need and made sure everything was perfect! The set up, flow, just everything was perfect, our guests loved it and so did we, I couldn’t have imagined my special day anywhere else!!!

This place is incredible! We were in the area looking at places to hold our 2021 wedding and stopped to see if we could get information. The owner was completely accommodating and welcomed us in for a tour. We knew this was our wedding venue instantly! It is spacious, windows everywhere with lake view, the chandelier 😍 and there’s a huge outdoor terrace where we plan to hold the ceremony! May 21, 2021 is our date and this place is a MUST see!

The space is beautiful with a great view, but that is about it on the positive side, that I can say. Unfortunately the manager/owner has very little experience working with reasonable people or just plain doesn’t care about her patrons event. Part of owning small businesses is that you uphold a high level of professionalism and care about your clients overall experience. I have attended weddings where the owner has lied about events happening close in succession to a private event and has requested that client have to clean up themselves! Folks pay a very pretty penny to use this space! Similarly

I can not say enough about this place! Where else can you get this view and service! Our whole wedding from the planning process to the very end was executed perfectly! If you are looking to get married, this IS the place. I don't normally do reviews but when a company, their staff AND their OWNER go above and beyond... yup, its well beyond deserved! Thank you!

The staff was impressive and the views of Seneca lake are top notch! The food line went a little slow but I didn't know that the food was catered in by an out sourced company that my cousin had specifically asked for. The owner was friendly and actually took the time to talk with me about the food concern and then gave me some ideas for what to do in Hector beings I was here for four days. High-fives all the way around here!
