Hi, my name is Kim Nicholson and welcome to my salon/spa Knotts & Tangles. I have loved the beauty industry since I was a little girl. I absolutely love to do color especially blonde. In 2003 I graduated from A Cut Above Beauty College. Since graduating from cosmetology school, I have taken countless educational classes and received certifications to grow my knowledge of every aspect of the beauty industry.
Visiting the spa or having your hair done is considered a relaxing treat for clients. It is my expectation that every appointment should feel special. This is a large part of why I decided to create Knotts & Tangles in 2010. Coming from a large buzzing salon atmosphere, I found myself wishing to create a more one on one personalized experience for our clients.

Services
A 60-minute massage using heated basalt stones to relax the muscles and allow deeper tension manipulation. A quick fix massage for tension, specifically concentrating on the neck, back and shoulders. Available in 15 and 30-minute sessions. Specifically designed for pregnant women to help relieve common pregnant discomforts while promoting well-being for mother and baby.
We can't wait to meet you! When you arrive you will be greeted by your stylist/technician and have a consultation. We will plan out, not just your first visit, but a long term plan to ensure all your goals and needs are met. Your stylist will create a cut perfect for your face shape and lifestyle. Styling tips and tricks are always shared and extended styling lessons are always available.

I am from VA and here for a funeral. I was unable to have a haircut there because of Covid shut downs. Kim took care of me at 8:30 Fri morning. Beautiful facility, clean and very well maintained. Kim is personable and did a great job. Would love to be able to enjoy more of their services.
