We also have a 3 bedroom cabin on the water that can accommodate 6 or more guests. The cabin has a full kitchen and family room. The cabin is very popular with fishing groups and families. Look out the cabin window and watch all the birds, ducks, Canadian Geese and waterfowl. You can sit at the picnic table under the Palm Trees or dangle your feet off the dock or throw a line off the fishing pier.
Bells Marina is a camper's paradise. The very best in South Carolina camping. The entire Marina has been updated with new everything including the bath house, landscaping and more. Bells Marina has it all. Camp sites with electricity, pump out facilities, showers, fuel, launch ramps, marine supplies, shore power and more.

I remember the twenty yr old guide Roland Martin of BASS Fishing fame growing up and operated out of Danny Bells Marina when Santee Cooper had lots of grass in the lower Lake Marion and known more for large Bass and Striped Bass.
Top-water plugs in the early morning, and throwing spinner-baits and tossing plastic worms into cypress stumps. And bream as big as a saucer ruled these waters.

I wasn't going to leave a bad review but I received no response from the owner about a bad experience. My family and I was there about a month ago. Upon checking in there were people hanging around inside the room I was assigned to. Had to go get a different room. My daughter called it bates motel. That's how dated it was. Couldn't tell if the blankets were clean or not. Didn't smell or look clean. Old tube type TVs only get a few channels. I wouldn't waste my time or money staying here. I'm sure there are better places in the area. I will not stay here again.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel here last weekend. I was a little apprehensive at first, but must say we really enjoyed it. The whole place is quite old, but the rooms were clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. All the people were very friendly and the restaurant was amazing. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive and the local people are very welcoming. We had one slight problem with the room when we got there and the owner immediately came down and took care of it. We would go back again!
