The year was 2005 and the place was Lake Charles Louisiana. I had a one way ticket to Cancun and onto the Island of Isla Mujeres where I helped captain a 70' Hatteras across the Gulf of Mexico in the Calcasieu Ship Channel. That adventure is by far at the top of my list. It was from that experience that Carpe Diem Fishing Apparel was created.
I am a licensed captain approved by the United States Coast Gaurd offering nearshore and offshore deep sea fishing charters in and around Surf City, N.C. I operate a 25-foot Sea Pro with room for 5 guests and a 2018 33-foot Onslow Bay (THREE 350 Verados) with room for 6 guests.
