Terry Enterprises, an investment firm that manages holdings in oil and gas, real estate, banking, ranching and other private ventures.
It has been a privilege to work for and now lead The Mike & Mary Terry Family Foundation as the executive director. The Terry family's values, leadership and dedication to making a measurable impact define both their business and charitable endeavors. In 2006, Mike and Mary Terry founded The Mike & Mary Terry Family Foundation to help facilitate their desire to give back to their community.
At MT7 Ranch, we focus on great land stewardship and wildlife management, so we were honored to be recognized as the Landowner of the Year by the Texas Wildlife Association in 2015. Since its purchase in 2008, we have taken the ranch in a new direction, yielding positive results for the land and community.
MTE has created a diversified real estate portfolio, with 63 investments over the past 10 years and 29 current investments. Whether invested within the GP/Sponsor structure or as the LP, we seek an active role in decision making and proper alignment of interests.
In addition to direct investments, we invest within selective privately-held funds to diversify geographically, across asset types and as an avenue to invest in more capital-intensive opportunities.We leverage our experience with our partners to grow value by targeting high-yield annual returns, property appreciation and well-timed acquisition/disposition of our investments.
