Thinking of buying a new bicycle? One of your first choices, and not necessarily an easy one, will be where to shop. It can be a challenge because there are a myriad of stores that carry two-wheelers, from specialty retailers, to giant department stores, to backyard garage operations. Where you buy, however, has everything to do with what you get.
You see, bicycles aren't like toasters or suitcases. Bikes are shipped in boxes and they must be assembled and tuned. There are many types, too, and you should never buy until you've figured out which is right for you. Measurements and adjustments are required to ensure the frame is the correct size and that the seat and handlebars are properly positioned.

I arrived at this bike shop looking to replace a jammed bicycle chain, on a road bike, and fixing the rear brake wire (tension very loose). Once I arrived for pickup a few days later, the chain was brand new and seemed to be greased very well. While riding the bike, the rear brake tension felt very firm. The additional items, that was not initial mentioned, they added and needed to be fixed, was the wire end cap (This was a very small charge of around a few cents ). Also, they mentioned while fixing the chain system, the reason for the chain damage was due to the main sprocket being bent, they

Great prices, great service, but... I spent $537 here for a brand new bmx bike with a free coaster. First day, the handlebars slipped and almost made me crash.
Second day, I noticed when my free coaster engaged/disengaged it was not greased whatsoever.
Makes it super hard to click, locking up the cranks leading to ghost pedaling... that also almost made me crash. I do not feel safe on my brand new bike and that’s a problem.

Purchased a bike here several months ago and the guy that sold me the bike was extremely rude when I brought the bike back in due to the seat post was sliding down. Said I had adjusted the bike seat and then went to the register, gave me my check back, and took the bike away. I had not changed the seat post or adjust the bike as I told him and he told me to get out of the store. Go to Caney Fork cycles. They aren’t rude and actually want to care for customers. Ridiculous.

My entire family has bought bikes from this shop and they have taken extremely good care of us. The bikes are great quality and they keep us up and running if we have any problems for a great price. You cant beat their service anywere else in town. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone i know.
