We really enjoyed our stay at this campground last week. It was very quiet and our young daughter really had fun catching fish there, playing at the playground and walking the trail through the woods. We also enjoyed the drive up to benezette every evening to watch the elk. This was one of those places we didn't want to leave!

October 16, 2021. Clean facilities, very nice people working and staying there. When I arrived temporarily without treats for my unruly, large, barking puppy a neighbor camper stepped in to the rescue with lots of treats. Thank you Sue! I wish I could have enjoyed the amenities. The place seemed just perfect in the most beautiful area of PA. Dog park areas were a Godsend! Wonderful campground.

We stopped here for one night as a weigh-point between a maintenance service and a week in Gettysburg. We WILL be back. The campground was beautiful and the folks that assisted us were friendly and helpful. Sometimes you stay somewhere fore the night and you wish you had a week. That was Woodland. Looking forward to a future visit!!

We were traveling with friends to Gettysburg from Niagara Falls and this was going to be a 1 night stopover. When I made the reservation a few months ago I had actually put in my notes “Lisa was very nice!”
Nice is to say the least about her and Mike, the owners. They live on site and work really about 24/7 keeping everything looking great.
They have a great playroom with a jukebox, board games and pool table and more. The laundry room is always clean with 3 washers and 3 dryers, and all actually work great $1.25. The store is stocked with some of the things you may have forgotten at home

This park is very nice. The staff are extremely courteous. They deliver your firewood when you order! It’s a beautiful place with Native American history. There is this amazing tree, grown by Native Americans, which was formed to mark a Native American trail. It’s a very majestical tree. The description reads, “This white oak established itself in approximately 1768. The unusual was done by man. Native Americans turned the tree into the shape you see today. It acted as a road sign to them as it is pointing due west.”
The park has many pull-through sites and lots of cozy places to watch
