Founded in 1978 to feed the creative urges and technical obsession of the companies owner, Frank Farrell, CVP has grown from a talented teen with a camera into a full grown creative agency. Over the last 4 decades CVP has help craft countless videos and marketing collateral to help our clients tell a better story and reach their target demographic.
Each production we take on starts with a detailed discovery meeting & strategy session. This ensures that our team has clarity on exactly what we need to accomplish, what assets and challenges we have to work with, and gives us a chance to identify where the magic in YOUR STORY lies.
Once we've established the high level goals we move to the smaller, yet highly important details, such as location scouting, script writing, story boards, scheduling, talent acquisition, permits, and whatever your unique project requires.While you think about the BIG picture we'll help work out all the little details that make a good video great.

At CVP, we've become experts with this new element of photography and video production. We have been using drones long before they became affordable to the average consumer, giving us the edge of years of experience flying them. Whether it was for Rutgers University, Monmouth Park Racetrack, or other noteworthy establishments, we have been able to use drone cinematography to expand our perspective.

For our filming weekend, I am SO glad we went with Custom Video Productions NJ. I'm an actor and went in not really knowing what exactly was best to make our film sound the best. But, to my luck and immense gratitude - the team at Custom Video was SO accommodating and knowledgeable, making sure to answer every question I had so we got the very best for our project, within our budget. These guys were awesome! This was my first time working on a production of this size and their efficiency and expertise was such a huge help and relief - it took a lot off my plate that I didn't have to worry about because it was so clear they knew what they were doing! On top of that every single one of them was so kind and just cool to be around. They're equipment was great quality, they were extremely knowledgeable and patient with me too as I navigated my way through a new experience. Recently, my aunt passed and I had a VHS family film that I wanted to convert to DVD. All that was necessary was putting it in a VCR and copying to a DVD. I was crunched for time and needed the video the next day, because our family wanted to be able to play the video during the wake services for friends and family could see. When I explained my situation, they told me it would take hours and hours and that they would have to charge me $75.00 for the transfer and $75.00 for the rush.
