I have been involved in the beauty field since I moved to the U.S. in 2010 working with high end makeup brands as well as in a salon setting.
I have been running a freelance business, assisting my own clients since 2014. Born and raised in Russia, I used to live in the Northern VA, Washington DC area and moved to the SW Florida, Cape Coral area in 2020. With years of experience in the beauty industry and being a mom of 2 kids, I am a planner and multitasker.

I first found Elena in November for my wedding in March. My hair trial was in January, which means she held my wedding date for TWO months without any talk about a deposit. I had my hair trial, paid the necessary amount & even supplied a hefty tip. In the email following the trial, I communicated that I will send the deposit ASAP. Something came up… in my life (things happen) and I missed the contract “expiration” date by a couple of days. Without any email, text, or message whatsoever, she released my date and booked another wedding. Now I had to scramble to find another

So glad I have met and decided to work with Lena in my big day. She made it all happen on schedule and made us look so presentable and beyond beautiful. She showed her talent all morning to get my crew ready… and even fit in a flower girl last minute. Payment is all done ahead of time and day of her focus is on getting things right and staying on schedule. She is detailed in notes and can quickly view a photo for inspiration and make it happen. She was such a pleasure to work with and I hope I can book her again soon for other events.

I could not be happier with the services Elena provided. My sister and I had Elena do our make-up and hair for a family wedding. Elena arrived early (always a good sign!) to set up and get her beauty station ready. She asked each of us what we wanted as far as make up look and the final looks were perfect! I did an updo and swiftly my hair was up, gorgeous with wisps - exactly what I had asked for...my sister did casual curls and the style stayed well into the night post humidity, dancing and late night cocktail party. Elena will be our go-to artist in the DC area!

This is to warn all other brides, In hopes that no other wedding day is ruined by this woman. There was no problem with her during the trial appointment. We signed the contract, in which we agreed on a set amount to be paid for the bride, bridesmaids, and flower girl services. Everything was fine with her until it came to the day of. Firstly, she was late. Then it came to do the brides hair. The bride had asked for a simple style since she had a delicate headpiece. Lena Kerner then delivered a different hairstyle than the one discussed, and upon seeing the hairstyle, the bride became visibly upset
