What comes to mind when you think about fitness? Is it the balance and coordination of a gymnast; or the endurance of the runner who wakes most mornings before the sun? Is it the strength and power of a wrestler; or the accuracy and stamina of a boxer? Is it willow like flexibility of a yoga instructor; or the speed and agility of a soccer player?
Constantly Varied means changing your workout - routine is the enemy. CrossFit mixes weight training, gymnastics (think bodyweight movements) and endurance training in as many combinations as possible which provides fitness that prepares you for anything in the real world. The more routine your workouts are, the less prepared you will be for the unexpected.
ProFitness Northwest CrossFit Classes develop full fitness across all of the 10 Points of Fitness. ProFitness Northwest in Bellingham's offers Youth and Adult Self Defense Classes that are practical and effective in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. At ProFitness Northwest we understand that you spend much of your week training really hard in CrossFit and/or in Personal Training.
CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. We have sought to build a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency - not only for the unknown, but for the unknowable. After looking at all sport and physical tasks collectively, we asked what physical skills and adaptations would most universally lend themselves to performance advantage.
ProFitness Northwest in Bellingham's CrossFit programming includes strength training among the ten points of fitness and if you want more emphasis on strength we offer a Barbell Class that focus on strength and muscle gain through Power Lifting and Olympic Weightlifting. We emphasize proper technique as we believe that a solid foundation built on proper fundamental movements promotes health and performance.

Update: Just over a year later and I went back again for a drop-in while on vacation. Same friendly and professional atmosphere! I especially appreciated the instructions for the sanitation measures to keep everyone as safe and comfortable as possible in the current COVID landscape. My daughter was with me this time and she felt happy and comfortable to workout with me at Profitness Northwest!
Great people! I felt very welcomed and had a great warm up, workout, and recovery time! I came as a guest but felt like extended family :)

Chad’s commitment to his craft is bar-none the most competent, passionate, motivated, and determined I have seen in my years as a competitive weight lifter at the collegiate level. He backs up his trainings with years of success in a wide variety of athletes, at all different levels. He brings a warriors mindset into the gym, whether it is his private sessions, CrossFit classes, or martial arts training. He works exceptionally well with any level of fitness and he and his team throw themselves into each session with maximum effort. Few people find what they are truly passionate about and commit

Highly recommend! The coaching staff is very hands on, encouraging, extremely knowledgeable and always emphasize proper technique. The gym is one of the cleanest I’ve been to, with a good range of equipment in excellent shape. The other members are very welcoming and you immediately feel a part of the community. A great place to workout whether you’re just starting off or a seasoned CrossFitter. You will not be disappointed!!

ProFitness Northwest was the first time in my life I was referred to as an athlete and I loved it! I did crossfit with them3 days a week for about a year before I moved. I played kickball last summer before I started and then played again last week....wow what a difference..i really feel like crossfit has improved my agility, focus, strength and success of being able to hop into any game and be a good team player! 10 out of 10 would recommend and the coaches are amazing. Even though you are in a group class you get the attention of having a personal trainer helping with form, tempo and encouragement

When I started working with Chad at age sixty, my goal was to gain strength and stay active the rest of my life. Having done lots of group classes and exercise machines, free weights were a real challenge for me. With Chad's patience and encouragement I have achieved my goals, but it is an ongoing process. I highly recommend Pro Fitness Northwest. A great gym with great energy and people. Fun to be part of such a positive exercise environment! It's a very important part of of my life.
