We've been in business since 1952! In 1969, our agency's former president, Bill Fawcett, joined the Ludwig Insurance Agency in Palo Alto, CA. Then, in 1972, Bill became a partner at the agency and it was renamed Ludwig & Fawcett, Inc. In 1980, Bill's wife Judy left her longtime position working for an insurance company and joined Ludwig & Fawcett, followed in the years to come by their sons Brady and Dave.
Brady has been working at Ludwig & Fawcett since 1981 and has been a licensed agent since 1984. Brady and his wife raised their two daughters in Mountain View where they have all been extremely active members of the community. Dave enjoys people, so he loves the chance to get to know clients and business associates.

Our insurance broker Maria Carranza completely misinformed us of coverage on our personal liability despite the fact that in our email correspondence she said one thing, but really she had it all wrong. In fact her lack of knowledge on a policy she sold us cost us literally thousands when we had to make a claim. It took her 9 days to even respond to my husbands inquiry about our coverage. There is no other insurance agent like this company. I've worked with Dave Fawcett from Ludwig and Fawcett. Super great service and recommendations from him on what to do for my insurance needs or when to make a claim. Very easy to access as well, and goes out of his way when you have a claim to try to make it as efficient as possible for you. Some examples are making the claim on your behalf, having a body shop lined up for you that he uses himself when incidents occur, checks with the body shop on how your claim is going and if there's anything he can do to help at any time, including

Poor and delayed service. I did not find any added value that they bring to the table. After over 5 years being with them, I decided to take all my insurance to GEICO where I found dealing with the 1-800 much more efficient and responsive than dealing with these folks.
I never made a claim on any of my insurance with them luckily. But if I needed a quote, or a clarification on a question about my insurance they got back to me on average 3-5 days. Unacceptable time to respond. If I ever needed to claim on a policy I am sure their time to respond would be much longer.

This place ROCKS! I have been doing business with Ludwig & Fawcett over 5 years and can not be happier. In fact all my insurances (car, home) are now managed by Kelly, Maria, and their staff. They are very professional, honest, quick, and available at any time. Each time I needed a new insurance, I got everything resolved within hours! The prices they provide are also unbeatable! We have been insured through this office for everything from car insurance, homeowner's insurance, and now even to our business insurance. Very professional staff, and knowledgeable. I can rely on them for any questions regarding auto insurance and or renters insurance.
Kelly and the other staff members are great at responding back to you.
I am a long time customer and don't plan on leaving. I like there services and I don't feel like I'm talking to robot or some agent who doesn't care.

A few years ago I moved to the Bay Area and I was looking for auto and renters' insurance. I found this company on Yelp a few years and man, those reviews are true. Dave Fawcett has been working hard to find out all possible discounts and provide the best deal.
He was always eager to answer any questions I had and he actually walked an extra suggested a few options I didn't even knew were possible. This guy is definitely a pro!

I transferred my auto insurance to Ludwig & Fawcett about a year ago and have been very happy with their service! My agent is always available via phone or email which is a huge convienence for me as I'm always on my laptop. I'm currently in the market for business insurance and see myself as a "lifer" with Ludwig & Fawcett!! =D

With Ludwig & Fawcett, I receive superior customer service; I get expert advice when I need it; I pay a lower premium than what I used to; and I find that everyone is very easy and pleasant to deal with. Dave has helped me fill out and review paperwork more than once. I am a very grateful client, to say the least!

Our family has been using Ludwig and Fawcett for our insurance needs since the 1970s when bell bottoms were in style for the first time, and when Nixon was still in office (I think... ;)). They are a great company. Bill, Dave and Victoria are the most professional and down to earth people i have ever met. When i started my landscaping business, i couldn't find anyone that could help me buy the insurance bond and liabilities.
