Our 14,200 square foot facility, located just miles from the I55 & I80 intersection, houses state-of-the-art equipment used to engineer and fabricate a wide variety of steel structures.

M & I Steel Services Inc. offers Custom Steel Fabrication and Steel Erection to the greater Chicagoland area, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin at competitive prices and unrivaled customer service. Our long-standing legacy of offering a quality product on schedule has carried us through twenty years of rewarding service.
We fabricate beams, girders, columns, roof frames, and RTU platforms. Starting with raw beams, our shop can build all the way through to the complete structural steel skeleton. Our products range from single-line guardrails to complex stair systems. We enjoy stretching the boundaries in our miscellaneous department, such as taking on projects which include mirror finish risers, glass panels, and leather-bound handrails.

We also employ estimators, maintenance workers, office assistants and safety coordinators.

When it comes to safety in the workplace M&I Steel spares no expense. Without supplying our employees with the most up to date safety tools, how can we expect them to produce quality work? All employees go through safety training before starting on any of our projects. To ensure a safe working environment we provide Site Specific Safety Plans, M&I Steel Safety Plans, Weekly Tool Box Talks, and Daily Reports for all our job sites.
