Acupuncture is a medical art which originated in China over three thousand years ago. This art is one branch of traditional Chinese medicine which includes herbal medicine, dietary therapy, therapeutic massage (tui na), and therapeutic exercise (qi gong). Acupuncture promotes healing and restores balance in patients through the insertion of specially designed needles into specific points on the body.

Complimentary techniques can be used to support this treatment through the application of heat, moxibustion, cupping, or electrotherapy. Acupuncture is a medicine which is appropriate for virtually any patient, young and old. This medicine is valuable in the treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, musculoskeletal injuries, reproductive health, substance abuse challenges, and emotional difficulties.

Dental pain generally includes pain in the teeth and/or gums, and may result from infection, inflammation, or nerve damage. Acupuncture is not a suitable treatment for dental correction; however, it can provide temporary pain relief associated with dental problems. Nerve root pain - pain in the nerve root of a tooth.

Toxins we consume in our food and drink may build up in the skin, causing additional damage. And the skin can be affected by certain diseases or injuries, causing skin changes or scarring.
