The original owner of Klean Pools was Keith Henley. He started Klean Pools, Inc. at his kitchen table in 1991 with nothing but a typewriter, a list of potential customers and a vision. With ten years of experience in the pool industry, Keith saw the need for a company in the Richmond area that could provide quality pool services and repair.
His wife, Karen, had a bookkeeping background, and she helped facilitate his ideas. During his first year in business, Keith worked alone and serviced only a few customers on a weekly basis. In the spring of 1992, he hired his first employee. In 20 years, Klean Pools, Inc. has become the leading swimming pool service and repair company in the Richmond area.
