Exceptional events require exceptional entertainment! Our trained DJs and emcees are in attendance from start to finish and help make your celebration absolutely perfect. We always arrive early to the venue, perform sound/audio checks, dress appropriately (dark suit or black-tie = your choice), and are ready to go before guests arrive.
Uplighting is a fantastic way to bring color, drama, and ambiance to your space. An ordinarily plain/dull room is brought to life with well placed LED fixtures. Wi-Fly technology allows us to place the uplights anywhere in your venue's main ballroom and control the color/intensity at our DJ station.
Have your guests tell a story in pictures with our GIF Booth. We'll capture three or four still images in a sequence and animate them into a forever looping string of giffy goodness. Guests have about 5 seconds between each frame to pose for the next image in their storyline. You really want GIFs, but want your guests to have prints too.

Rob and Joe were incredible from the preparation all they way to our wedding day. Rob was our point person and helped with all of the coordination, must play songs, lighting, photo booth, and the mixing for our first dance song! Joe was ultimately our DJ and he did an unbelievable job keeping the dance floor going all night, while also accommodating a fairly complicated request from our maid of honor and best man for their speeches. Peter, who manned the photo booth, did an amazing job capturing memories of all our guests and putting them in our photo book. I would not hesitate to recommend either

We were referred to Rob from friend who hired him as their wedding DJ. We attended the wedding and danced the WHOLE night. The dance floor was always busy, which is what we wanted for our wedding. Rob delivered that and then some! He helped me with a surprise for my husband, helped make the perfect timeline and gave excellent advice. Also, great communication!

I cannot recommend Rob and his amazing staff enough! Our first meeting I knew immediately Rob and Pete were the PERFECT addition to our day. Rob was super responsive and made the entire planning process seamless. Rob made personal edits to my songs in order to make them perfect, make our timeline absolutely perfect AND he even helped with a surprise Maid of Honor song/speech.
Rob and his team were unbelievably flexible, responsive, accommodating and so much more. I made last minute changes and the team made it work so perfectly that no one knew but me and them. I cannot say enough good things

2020 has been one for the books. After postponing our wedding from May to October, we ultimately ended up having to down-size our guest list (abandoning our plans for a large venue and a live band). At the LAST MINUTE, we decided to hire an MC at our venue manager's recommendation. She suggested we book Rob at Monastero Entertainment, and boy are we glad we did! Wow, I seriously do not have enough words to express my gratitude for Rob and his amazing talents as a DJ. He was one of the most helpful and thoughtful vendors I had at my wedding, he edited songs for my recessional to make them exactly how I wanted it, helped me nail down timelines, plan for things I didn't even think of, allowed me to sing bad karaoke, he even offered to get me drinks and carry things if I needed help. Roberto was an excellent DJ! He played a great mix of music that kept all our guests dancing all night long. We received many compliments on the DJ and said it was the most fun reception they'd been to! During the planning process Roberto was available to help out and provide suggestions. We also liked the online event manager program that allowed us to select songs that we liked and guided us with reception organization. We would recommend Monastero Entertainment again and again! Joe was our wedding dj last week. I couldn't be more thankful for the service he provided. Joe doesn't just play music he provides guidance and professionalism to keep your wedding plans at bay. With all the drunk people running around Joe gathered everyone important promptly and worked with the photographers and wedding staff to keep everything running smooth. His equipment was spot on without a single hiccup. He is a professional and the real deal so if you need a wedding dj at a good price this is your man.

I just attended the American Cancer Society's Taste of Hope event at Morgan Mfg. The DJ kept the party on a great vibe all night long. A mix of chill cocktail music that morphed into dusty old and fresh new hits and Latin dance, the works! My wife and I were chatting that we liked the music selection earlier in the evening then when we later walked past the DJ booth we realized, "hey, that's 'Berto!". Its been two weeks since our reception and I'm still getting texts from people letting us know how awesome our DJ was! Roberto is a master of his craft. He reads the crowd perfectly. Not only did he make sure our dance floor was packed the entire night, but he was incredibly gracious to our guests as well. I should have written this long ago, but better late than never :-) Rob did our wedding back in September and he did an amazing job! I knew he would be great to work with, however, from the moment we first spoke with him. Rob is such a warm, kind, and genuine person. He really listens to what you want for your big day and is very responsive. Despite our wedding being on a Sunday, Rob had everyone out on the dance floor, having a great time! Pete DJ'd our wedding last weekend (September 24, 2016) and COMPLETELY rocked it! They stuck mostly with the song choices we gave them, but also threw in a few similar songs, and were so good at reading the crowd. They kept the dance floor packed literally the entire night until we were forced out by the venue!
Additionally, dealing with Rob Monastero and Pete leading up to the event was also a breeze. They were kind, flexible, and just so wonderful to deal with. I work events for a living, and I've seen so many DJs in the Chicago area, but never one who made the night this fun. I cannot

I am not sure how you "interview" a DJ, but I chose Rob mainly because I liked him immensely (in addition to all of the positive reviews!) He completely understood the vibe we were going for, and did what WE wanted. Everyone, from my 85 year old grandfather to my 23 year old co-worker, had a great time dancing and celebrating.

I would book Rob 100000 times over!! He is absolutely amazing...all of our guests commented on how perfect the music was. He even sang during our moms dance and blew everyone away. We gave him only a slight guideline of the type of music we wanted, but other than that he felt the vibe/energy of the guests and went with it. Incredible doesn't even describe the night. Rob is so much fun, so talented, energetic, professional..everything you want in a DJ for your wedding day. Everyone was on the dance floor, young and old! I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!!

I can't stress enough how awesome Roberto is. He was such an amazing part of my wedding. You wouldn't believe how many people have told us that it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to! I know it's because I had phenomenal vendors and I have no doubt that Roberto played a singular role there - everyone - and I mean EVERYONE including my uncle with his arm in that sling - was on the dance floor!!! Roberto!!!!!!!!! You kicked major A$$ saturday night. Our guest can't stop talking about how well you mixed the songs together. You kept that dance floor moving all night! Marjie and I spent more time dancing then going around to our guests! lol I know the guests didn't mind it. You played the perfect songs at the right time for the right amount of time to keep the guests into it. Well as you can see already Roberto is the man. After going to a wedding and loving the music my wife asked who the DJ was and we were introduced to Roberto. He was great in working with us since we did some different things at our wedding (remixed first dance, etc.). He also did a great job coordinating with both our photographers and videographers. However, the most important part is the music. After having gone to at least 20 weddings in the last 3 years, I'm of the mindset that music either makes or breaks the wedding.
