Eighteen years ago, I decided to take my fashion design background in a different direction and stepped behind a camera. I started shooting with film as an apprentice to a photographer who had been in the business for 30 years. It was a great way to learn! Eventually, I bought her studio, transitioned to digital and acquired a Professional Photography Certification.
Every senior picture experience is unique. It's created by the photographer's personality and philosophy as much as their products and procedures. We want to tell you all about Photonuvo, what we do and why, so you will know exactly what to expect when you choose us as your senior picture studio. We take time at the beginning of the each session to listen to our senior's ideas and to ask them questions about themselves.
Senior picture sessions can be such fun! It's wonderful to be a part of that fun and see the pictures as they happen. I really like to encourage parents, if they possibly can, to go with their child when they have senior pictures taken. Sometimes parents worry about intruding or making their child nervous.
Start with your personal style. It's important that you feel comfortable in the outfits you'll be photographed in and that they flatter your body type. As you plan your outfits, try to bring a variety of necklines, sleeve lengths and color options. Be aware that, in pictures, sleeveless or strappy tank tops and dresses can increase the appearance of the size of your arms.
Simplicity Session- $95 Want to keep it simple? Then this is the session for you. Always fun and innovative, this session will take place in the comfort of the studio. Perfect for the senior who wants great photos without all the fuss. Includes a 35-minute session, two outfits, 25 images to choose from, and a viewing appointment.

Judy and Linda are fantastic. We had our family photos taken and from beginning to end our whole experience was really great. They both have wonderful energy and were great at working with our whole family but especially our young son. They were so encouraging and positive, and I feel every step of the process went better than expected because of that.

I chose Photonuvo to do my senior pictures, and they did not disappoint. I’ve never felt more comfortable in front of the camera. They made the whole process so easy and super fun. They also made sure the session was unique to me. The overall experience was just fabulous. All of my photos turned out amazing, I’ve never had such a hard time picking a favorite! Photonuvo did an absolutely amazing job on my senior photos this past summer. Not only is their work flawless, but their interaction with clients creates a comfortable, exciting, and positive environment. I went into my shoot pretty nervous, as I really don’t like photos of myself. They made me feel so confident and beautiful that my nervousness faded away within the first 15 minutes. We absolutely loved getting to spend the evening with Linda and Judy as they worked their magic shooting my daughter's senior picture session. I have never had an experience like this. Linda picked the perfect spot to shoot based on my daughter's personality and lifestyle, and spent 4 hours making sure they didn't miss a shot. Ellensburg is very fortunate to have such a talented and artistic photographer like Linda Hamilton. Linda knows how to capture the perfect image of her models while keeping the environment fun and exciting. My daughter had so much fun during her senior picture session. I was very hesitant to have my business portrait picture taken because I don't photograph very easily. I have not been particularly happy with previous experiences, so I reluctantly contacted Photonuvo and agreed to a session.
To my amazement, the photographer was very patient, helped me pose so that I didn't look frumpy and old, and took a lot of pictures while we were talking to show me how I could improve future pictures. The photo was chosen, and the session only took about 20 minutes. They helped me every step of the way, paid attention to small details and did an excellent job
