In need of an honest & thorough Auto repair shop I consulted the Herald Tribune reader poll, Lowe's Automotive Service was close & had good reviews, that was then & this is now! On my 1st visit I needed my A/C repaired for not blowing cold & losing freon gas, they preformed 2 tests & replaced the O rings at a cost of $450, they informed me a breather was missing from a valve cover, my arm was in a sling from recent surgery, they found the correct size installing it on my truck. They also added 2 quarts of trans fluid that wasn't needed, it ended up on my garage floor, charging another $74. On my

Had a precision alignment performed here on my C7 Corvette Grand Sport. This car requires a special tool to adjust rear caster, and Lowe's has it. I am not aware of any other shop within 50 miles of here that has it. They did a good job and were able to get within a few hundredths or less of my requested camber and caster settings.

I recently had a fuel leak due to a squirrel chewing through my fuel line, I could not find an appointment at any of the area Ford dealers. I was recommended by friends of family to Lowe's Auto. I spoke to Mike he advised to have it towed in ASAP and he would get it taken care. Just over 24 hrs later I was back on the road. Many thanks to Mike, Brad and the crew at Lowe's they certainly have my business going forward.

Place was by far the worse mechanic shop that I've ever gone to. The owner is a liar and manager Pete should be a used car salesman.
When I got home they charged 5 times more than what my mechanic here charge me for doing the same work on the other half of the engine. you can contact me and I will tell you the details on it too much to explain.
