The chiropractic adjustment is one of the most powerful and well researched manual therapy tools in healthcare today. The physicians at Miami Spine and Performance are two of only a handful of chiropractors in South Florida and the only chiropractors in Hallandale Beach certified by the Motion Palpation Institute in both the spine and extremity adjustments.
Active Release Technique was founded by Dr. Michael Leahy in 1985 and is now used in sports organizations across the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLS, and UFC. Multiple large corporations throughout the country have also contracted with A.R.T. to have a practitioner on staff to improve corporate wellness and allow their employees to work efficiently and pain-free.
Dr. Lewit examined the short and long-term effects of dry needling in the treatment of myofascial pain in test subjects with painful myofascial trigger points ("muscle knots"). He reported pain-relieving effects in subjects engaged by a needle without pain medication. He called this the phenomenon the "needle effect, " where the pain-relieving effects of the needle are distinct from that of the injectable pain modulating substance.

THE BEST!! I was having some lower back due sitting long hours at work, and finally decided to go see Dr. Will. My biggest regret is not going sooner! Dr. Will is very professional and caring, he takes the time needed with you and gives you advice to avoid further pain. The office is very nice and clean with new equipment, and in a great location. My daughter referred me to Dr Adams for my knee. Since my first appointment I was extremely impressed with their knowledge and eagerness to find a solution. All of my follow up appointments were focused on everything but my knee because every time I came in I had another injury issue from playing tennis.
Dr Adams focused on each issue to try to alleviate pain and increase my range of motion while making sure everything else as stabilized.

Dr. Adams has been phenomenal. He really takes him time to figure out your problem and lay out a plan for recovery. I came in with 10+ years of knee pain and was told that I had to "take it easy" indefinitely by an orthopedic doctor. Dr. Adams found some limitations and weakness in my movement that we were able to improve in order for me to be more phyiscally active and healthy. I am now able to golf, run and play basketball with my kids with ZERO PAIN.

Ivette was so professional and informative. I signed up for the 5-week rehabilitative program after I had a major lower back spasm and 5 weeks later I feel better than before. Ivette provided the tools that I needed to ensure that I would be okay long after the 5 weeks was up. They're a fantastic team and they really care about their patients. They're personable, charismatic and they really know they're stuff! Happy to be 'back' at my normal routine!
