Tommy graduated from Winfield High School in 1989 and went on to earn his degree in Mortuary Science in 1992. Tommy has completed his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) certification, the highest professional designation you can achieve in funeral service, from The Academy of Professional Funeral Service.
Many professions grant special recognition to members upon completion of a series of academic and service requirements that eclipse those of state or national licensing boards. This level of achievement is often recognized by the use of initials after one's name to signify this level of achievement.

Having to handle the details of final arrangements for a loved one under emotional stress is lifted when preplanning arrangements have been made.
The newly renovated facility at Bowen Funeral Home offers a warm and comfortable setting for receiving friends and relatives in your time of loss. The main lobby is tastefully furnished with comfortable seating, ambient lighting and offers plenty of room to accommodate a large group of visitors. We have three parlors in addition to our spacious Chapel so that we can facilitate multiple families at once if necessary.

I just wanted to thank you for taking such good care of my Uncle Terry Webb, and so many other family members . My cousin cell phone videoed me what she could. I got to hear a little service. Uncle Terry looked ready for Jesus, even though we’re greedy and didn’t want to let him go: just imagine what a day of rejoicing he had... thanks again for always serving my family with excellence. I cannot possibly ever thank Mr. Tommy and Mrs. Shana for all of the help and support they offered through one of the most difficult times of my life. My Dad’s passing was very unexpected, and I had no idea how to plan a funeral. They were both so helpful, and went out of their way to make sure my Dad had a nice service and burial. I know no one wants to ever have to deal with losing a loved one, but Bowen Funeral will definitely help you through the hard times so you can focus on your family. Thank you so much for everything!

I thought I did a review on Tommy . But I was looking and it never post. Or my mind was crazy because of what stress I was under. But Tommy was wounderful. He feels big shoes. He bets any one I’ve been to his stuff is number one he is number one. He will do any further funerals I need. And even mine when time comes. He took my son like his own. Tommy 10 out of 10 you will not found anyone better . Thank you Tommy for the love and support. Even after the funeral they even showed love and support . There family in my eyes thank u Tommy
