I had been working on a large car port project for my home, and hired Brian Ki at Team Engineering to do some planning designs for me back in 2017. His work was excellent, and I really felt like he understood exactly what my needs were. Unfortunately, at that time I put the project on hold as the costs were more than I had anticipated to build my ideal car port. Wow! What an experience! My project is considered very small and I was treated like the most important customer they had. Communication was prompt and any question I asked was answered with a smile. I recently worked with Brian Ki from Team Engineering to get started on my home kitchen project. I want to remove some framing for a drop down ceiling that was put in by the previous owners to faciliate installation of drywall, insulation, and an electrical chase. The framing was put in as part of a kitchen addition, but did not appear to be structural in nature. Unsure about the situation, I wanted to get an expert from Team Engineering involved. This company has been so helpful. I worked with John Turner when I was buying my house, and he was efficient and timely with the results of the inspection, as well as updating his results after the repairs were done. And this time around, with the refinance, he was helpful and answered all of my questions courteously. In my experience, this company works well with lenders to get the structural engineering report to them in a timely manner.

John Turner is a brilliant engineer. I have seen many examples of his work and have always been blown away. I saw this project he did where he designed a free standing roof that allowed the owners to cost effectively save the house and have it be functional, aesthetically pleasing and economical. Besides being qualified, skilled, and professional, Team Engineering is focused. They listen. John turner and Dan Martel must have dozens of appointments and work lined up every day. But when they meet with you, they are focused on doing the best job possible for whatever problem you hand them. And believe me, in old houses, there are lots of problems. In heavy rain, crawling into nasty crawl spaces during initial inspection. And coming up with workable solutions to house renovation. They are hard-working gents and pleasant company. HIghly recommended.
