Move to ponchatoula from nola March 2020; missing all the nostalgic foods from the city I tried this place out one morning; and have been back with my family and friends ever since.
I read some comments about the customer service, wait times, covid masks etc. and I believe these ppl to be sincerely petty and rude. I've been on weekdays early and late as well as the weekends when they are extremely busy. I'm impressed with how the "short staffed" days they pivot and communicate quite well.
We have a family of 3 and on Sundays we wait 30 minutes or so for our full meals but

We had some iced coffee, hot coffee, all 4 flavors of beignets and a sausage egg wrap. Everything was very good. If we are passing through again we will stop for breakfast.
We sat outside and the server kept up with our coffee and checking on us. Great place.
Better get those beignets even if you're on a diet because they are that good!

Perfect coffee made with an espresso machine and Monin syrup, and topped with homemade whipped cream. Ask for Tonya or Kortiny for perfectly-made, delicious coffee. The cafe mocha option isn't too sugary, and the coffee is the best in town! The cafe is great for breakfast or lunch. Their capagnolo panini with grilled chicken, cheese and peppers is delicious. For breakfast, the omelets are fantastic--stuffed with thick chopped ham, fresh spinach, cheese and peppers. Their stuffed beignet bites are very good, though a bit sweet. They are hugely popular, and strawberry and Bavarian cream are

Food is good , price is right , employees are awful .
Not sure why i keep coming back , we got here today 11:50 , closes at noon .
I understand it is close to the closing time , but the way you talk to people and tell them you can't serve them must be better .
As a business owner myself , you should serve your customers if it is during business hours .
Just lost a customer Bc they did want to close earlier .
People take for granted customer service .

We visit Ponchatoula, LA once or twice a year when we make the trip down from Cincinnati, OH to visit family. My daughter loves the mini beignets, so this place is always on our list of must do's.
The atmosphere is small town diner. I have always been satisfied with my order, whether it's breakfast or lunch. The staff is usually attentive, and drink refills or other requests are promptly met.
After your meal, go across the street and visit the Ponchatoula Alligator.
