Green Bike Co-Op began as a community bike sharing program with a fleet of 100 "green bikes" available at no cost for anyone to ride. The Co-Op evolved into a multi-service bike shop which offers tune-ups, rentals, repairs, loaners, sales, use of tools and classes on bike maintenance. Green Bike is a community non-profit program under the umbrella of the Seashore Family Literacy Center.

We don't need pavement to explore - all we need is a bike and a destination. If you are a daily bike commuter, biking the entire coastline / HWY 101, or taking excursions in remote territory. Our volunteers have the expertise to keep you peddling! The Green Bike Co-Op is a program solely operated by volunteers.

Ten stars!
I have never payed so little and gotten so much for a used bicycle. Lots of fully functional, clean, name brand bikes.
Vintage bikes too (without "vintage" prices) if you're into that kind of thing.
Awesome!

Stopped by on tandem tour with my daughter to San Francisco. They gave our tandem once over. Just great, sweetheart wrenches. Six stars.

Nice shop, I have bought two bikes here and got a great deal on both. When I found out the first one had a problem with the suspension (everything else worked fine) I was able to return the bike and get another. Kurt is very friendly and helpful. This shop is a good place to pick up a good cheap used bike, they don't have any new bikes. They also have free loaners if you live in the area.

The guys running this place are so wonderful! They're so friendly and helpful. Plus, amazingly they had the exact part we needed. Thank you for letting us look around and continue doing what you're doing, it's great!
