Atlantic Comfort Systems
Atlantic Comfort Systems, Inc. is a Mechanical Contractor (Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing & Controls) incorporated in May of 1991, focusing on services, sales, and installations. We started as a service based company and that remains our strength and foundation. As customer's requests increased for installations and demand dictated, we formed a construction division with a controls specialist.

We then formed a controls/commissioning company, ACS Controls, Inc., and a plumbing department. We presently have 24 technicians, who collectively have over 350 years experience and carry the respective licenses to do anything in the heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing fields.
Services
We are a full Mechanical Contractor (Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing & Controls) providing service, sales, and installation for residential, commercial and industrial customers in Maine and New Hampshire since 1991. 2021 sees continued growth in both our Residential and Commercial Divisions.
AIR CONDITIONING Avoid the heat of next summer with a quiet, comfortable central air conditioning system your family will love. ENERGY EFFICIENCY Reduce your monthly energy bill with the latest comfort technology from Carrier. Your family will be more comfortable than ever and you'll see the difference in savings each month.
For the past twenty five years this Division has expanded from small commercial projects to large commercial / industrial projects and to the residential market and recently added plumbing in-house to have better control over quality and scheduling. Our concentration is primarily on design / build providing a complete package with maintenance contracts to ensure the client's future comfort and extending the life of their asset.
In June of 2001, a controls company, ACS Controls, was founded to compliment our construction and service divisions. This company is an affiliate of Atlantic Comfort Systems, Inc, but can also stand alone to provide a controls systems as the facility requires. We have received the Honeywell authorized contractor certification, but can install and commission other systems.
We offer complete Heat Pump installation for residential and commercial VRF Heat Pump projects. We install Ductless, Mini split, Slim duct systems ranging from small homes to large commercial properties. If you do not want a traditional central air conditioning system, we are able to design a highly efficient system based on your cooling, heating, or dehumidification needs.

From our initial meeting with Matt Tuller requesting an estimate to the clean-up after installation, we had a great experience with Atlantic Comfort Systems. Their estimate was fair and made sense; other estimates we got were, in our opinion, overselling us. Matt was professional and we were very comfortable with his recommendations. Foreman was friendly as were the techs that did the actual installation. We have used the heating end of the system briefly, works great! Now we're ready for hot & humid summer - bring it on!

Unfortunately, it’s been a long stream of disappointments with this company. Last year I struggled for more than a month to just secure a date for a mini-split installation. I went from a 12-day window to 60+. Last week I called and left a clear message requesting to schedule service as an existing customer. I never received a return call. I called almost a week later and finally spoke with someone to make an appointment - just two days out, which was good. I was told that I’d been given the first slot of the day so there’d be no chance that I’d get delayed. Today on the day of the appointment
