After a life spent in public service - Carl Littlefield and his wife of 48 years, Cheryl, were looking for a way to justify spending six months a year in the Highlands - Cashiers area in their retirement years. While this respite allowed them to escape the heat and humidity of Florida; they realized they needed more.
The name, Frederic Remington, is well known for his contributions to the art world with life-like oil paintings, sculptures, and bronzes. His artwork depicting the wild west, american cowboy, and Native American are enjoyed, collected, and prized the world over. Mantiques has acquired the solid bronze, Buffalo Signal, by Remington.
