Second time coming to this track for an Xtreme Xperience driving event. I'm so glad I came out again this year as they mentioned this track was closing due to the land being sold, so this was the last year to drive the track.
Track and facilities are very nice. There's plenty of room to park, observe cars on the track, different sitting areas, etc... The Xtreme Xperience event was well-organized with a quick check-in process, quick classroom session, organized lines for the different cars, in-car instruction, in-car video recordings, etc...

Exhilarating experience. The ride along in the lead car prior to driving a super car myself was very informative and a lot of fun. That allowed me to be familiar with the track and get some great tips on racing. The Austin track is very technical and produces plenty of “Gs” with the twists and turns with its compact design. There are several sections of the track where you can accelerate your blood flow. It was a day of super car overload, great people and solid information. Would I do it again - you bet!

I celebrated a bachelor party here during the weekend of the F1 race to race Go Karts and it's singlehandedly the best racing experience I've ever had. Bill and his crew taught me more about racing in that 4+ hours than I had ever thought possible to learn. You can tell his passion for the sport and it comes out in a truly unique and genuine (not to mention fast!) experience that you can't get anywhere else. Can't wait to get back!

Our friend wanted to go to K1 Racing for his birthday and we knew of a much better option. We got with his girlfriend, to plan the ultimate birthday surprise: Driveway Austin.
Driveway Austin is primarily a motorsports school ran by Bill Dollahite (a professional race driver with over 35 years of world-class racing experience) and his son Scott who heads the instruction department and is a current racing professional. Bill has quite a few accolades and "created Driveway Austin's famous track by combining some of the most interesting and challenging racing corners from the around the world."

I was really looking forward to the karting today. Bill was nice enough but seemed to take it a bit too seriously. I understand safety is important and I'm all in with that but I'm not a rookie with karting. It's supposed to be fun.
I regularly place first and get best lap times at K1 and COTA. These karts are definitely different and have their own personalities. Bill said the karts vary in speed by 2/10 of a second. I don't agree with that. The brakes on one of the karts was very squishy and late to respond. Not to mention that multiple karts stalled, including one of mine

Got a chance to work with Bill today and really enjoyed the experience. He is very professional and experienced and has a true passion for Motorsports. The go-karts were the best that I have found in the Austin area. This track is a much more welcoming and intimate experience then Circuit of the Americas. I will be coming here often.

Found this place on Google. Wanted a nice adventure for my husband and for our anniversary weekend. We thought it would just be go karts, but oh boy were we wrong. I'm glad we were wrong because we had a need for speed. It is a legitimate racing school that does open racing on Sunday's. No barriers, just open track. Everyone was patient, welcoming and professional. You could tell everyone loved what they did. My husband and I even got a chance to talk to the owners about where we're from and our military service. We even got a discount!! Whenever we come back to Austin, this spot

Fun, Fun, Fun....
I was able to take a super car out on the track and really use it like it's meant to be driven. Still, I didn't want to damage a quarter million dollar vehicle.
Very technical track that was built to teach actual race car drivers how to do their thing. Hard to find!, pay attention to the directions.

The Driveway is a quality motorsports academy with a nice racetrack. It is family owned. Bill, the main dude, is super cool and taught my hubby how to handle his car better.
The hubby just did his first Time Attack race today. He attended one of their driving classes and had a great time. This was my 3rd time out there to support him.
The place has a great vibe. The only thing that they need is a shaded spectator box for future races, but I believe they are considering this.
