Services
Dr. Marien grew up in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. He studied dentistry at the University of Oklahoma and then attained a certificate in Pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. He has served in the military for 36 years; 12 as enlisted and 24 as a dentist. Dr. Marien's favorite thing about being a dentist is helping children and has 17 1/2 years of pediatric dental experience.
She started off working as check-in receptionist and slowly transitioned to chairside assisting. You can now see Dhalia working with your child building that one on one relationship and make their experience memorable. Her favorite part about her job is being able to work with children because they make her job fun.
Restrooms, high-traffic areas, and hands-on entertainment including touch screens are disinfected multiple times a day - morning, afternoon, and overnight. Staff also survey the entire clinic throughout the day to respond immediately to needs in between scheduled cleanings. The entire clinic undergoes a thorough cleaning every day.

Dr. Manuel Marien, Dr. Tjel Olson, Dr. Alex Piedra, and Dr. Aaron Blackwelder along with a highly trained staff know how to make each moment a rewarding experience.

Very family friendly environment. The staff is so welcoming and loving. Maria walked me and my daughter back to the dental area and held a conversation with us while we waited for her dentist. When her dental doctor Marien walked in he greeted us with a big hello and lots of enthusiasm which eased my baby into cooperating while he was looking at her teeth. I recommended Temple Kids Dental to anyone looking for a dentist for their kid(s) or if you need to make a switch in your child's dental provider.

I have 3 kids that have been going here for about 2 years and every time the visits have been stress free. The staff (Maria, Jenny and Dhalia) are awesome; they relate to the kids well and make the experience enjoyable. The facility is cleans, well kept spacious and has games for to keep the kids attention. If you are looking for a dental clinic that treats your loved ones like they are family and provide exceptional service then I recommend Temple Kids Dental.

We have had great experiences at Temple Kids Dental. The facility and staff are definitely kiddo oriented and my kids love going knowing they have entertainment, prizes, and kid-friendly staff. Everyone is friendly, accommodating, and professional with adults as well. Each experience has been timely and appointments and billing have been smooth and convenient. My youngest recently had a relatively invasive procedure and she was comfortable and trusting the entire time. Absolutely the best children’s dentistry we’ve been too! Dr. Piedra is amazing! My son needed to be sedated to have a tooth removed and they were excellent during this process, Dr. Piedra and his nurse made sure my son was completely comfortable during the entire procedure. He even reached out a few hours later to check on my son, you can definitely see they care about the kids that come in.
