Since completing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at New York University in 1989, I have worked in health care settings (pediatrics and infertility) as well as in private practice, treating a wide variety of children, adults, and families.

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process that allows people to resolve conflicts in a non-adversarial manner with the help of an impartial third party. As a Family Mediator, I facilitate discussions with the goal of helping people to come to agreement on issues of consequence for their family.
Developing an effective co-parenting relationship is one of the most challenging and important issues facing divorcing couples. At a time when there is likely to be conflict, anger and hurt, it can be difficult to stay focused on the wellbeing of the children and to form a new relationship that centers around the "business" of parenting.
