My experience is mixed after about one year. The primary I see is Jennifer Schafer (FNP) who's really great at helping me as an adult autist with learning disabilities and communication problems.
She also treats both of my elderly parents and we've had no real troubles getting in to see her and get what we all need on her end. So if she's ever accepting patients, I highly recommend her.
The only notable problem was when we were told it was apparently "required" by the hospital to set up Patient Portal accounts. That experience itself was terrible.

If you are ever the unfortunate one that has your child mistreated, mentally abused and add HIPPA violations to the mix... Don't expect Summit Healthcare employees to address your concerns. This Summit Healthcare Monopoly is the most corrupt, unjust, disrespectful and unprofessional faculity. I bring this serious issue to their attention and they tell me I'm lying, and bullying. Wow, really so what happened to my son by an employee is okay with them? This isn't over , not even close. They say patient care is their first priority... sounds like they are hipocrates too.

We did take our son to pediatrician Dr. Brewer. Great doctor but Summit Healthcare building refused me service for not wearing a mask. WE are not in a pandemic anymore! We have treatments and vaccines. Everyone needs to stop this government control. WE DO NOT NEED TO OR HAVE TO WEAR MASKS!! STOP GOING ALONG TO GET ALONG PEOPLE!!

Worst emergency care I have ever experienced I have somebody very close to me that went to the emergency with a pretty serious injury they sent him home within a half an hour never really did anything except just send the person home. The doctors there act like they don’t know what they’re doing for stitches just for stitches they flew me all the way to Flagstaff the doctors have told me that the hospital in Showlow are full of doctors that are afraid to do their job bad for hospital bad staff bad leader ship. overall minus 5 stars

The amount of negative views here is mind boggling, took my 3 year old sister in due to her being sick. We were INSTANTLY taken care of, diagnosed, and got into a room a couple hours later. Staff is AMAZING with her and really shows that she cares. Scariest thing to see is your little one suffer, but the hospital makes you feel so taken care of. I recommend them! Things here are scary with covid, staff is over worked, and the rooms are basically all booked, so I have patience with needing to wait to see someone,

They sent me home with my baby 3 different times saying she was only teething and to alternate with Tylenol and improving. After they made me feel like I was crazy, with my child having seizures in the waiting room... I decided to take her to Phoenix Children's Hospital... she was septic from a UTI. F SUMMIT.

My experience with this hospital was positive. I had to go in for diabetic problems (DKA). Staff was amazing and nice. Hospital food is good. Couldn't of been taken care of by a better place. I recommend this hospital for any emergency purposes. Doctors are very attentive and actually care for patient.

The horror stories of this place… mine included.
Needs major help.
I just heard from a friend that something is wrong with her baby and they did nothing. She had to take her to phx childrens.
One time my mom couldn’t feel her legs and was taken there… they couldn’t figure it out and tried to send her home when she couldn’t walk. They had to send her to mayo. It was a disease where time really matters, she would have died had they waited any longer.
My sisters C-section was done here, she doesn’t have any nice things to say about her experience there.

The hospital treated my wife and I very well. They asked all the right questions and made me feel very comfortable before my surgery. They said that I would need pain pills and we told them that we use Safeway in Show low. After my wife picked me up we headed to the Safeway Pharmacy. My wife was told that they had no prescription for me. She called Summitt from there and they told her that they had called it in to Walmart. My wife told Summit to please call the prescription in to Safeway. She was told that my doctor was in surgery and wouldn't be able to call it in until he was out of surgery.
