Dental hygienist Patty Sheehan has been with the practice since 2007. She worked with Chris in the past, and when she became available Chris insisted that Dr. Montag hire her immediately. She has quickly become an important part of the office and is an excellent hygienist. She also coordinates the office's periodontal program.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier.

My experience with Dr. Montag and his staff has always been top notch. Dr. Montag is great and his entire staff is amazing! I’ve been a patient of his for over a decade ever since moving to the Albany area. From routine cleanings, to more substantial dental work, I’ve had it all done through his practice and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend Dr. Montag and his staff to anyone looking for a great dentist in the area!

After not having been to a dentist for ten years, I was pretty nervous about going. Dr. Montag was great about telling me what exactly needed to be done and what we should tackle first. He is very informative and makes sure all questions are answered. Also all of his lovely ladies in the office are super sweet.

5 STAR treatment! I love the entire staff. No one likes having to go and see the dentist. I had to have a crown put on today. It was painless, they have a wonderful crown making machine so I was able to have one visit instead of the traditional two. They helped with all the insurance paperwork so I didn't have to file a thing. If anyone is looking for a dentist in the area I 100% recommend this office. Two thumbs up!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Montag for many years. We couldn't be happier with our experience. His staff are both professional and extremely friendly. He has modern equipment, is up to date on his skills, and always makes us comfortable. Over the years we've had a few emergencies and Dr. Montag has always made sure to see us that day (and once on a weekend)! We highly recommend this practice and couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
