The initial contact & installation was good but don't expect any type of customer service after they've left your house. Our house is new, this was one of the first things we wanted to do upon moving in. Two years after installation, we had a leak...I'm hearing this is very common, unfortunately, because solar installers that aren't associated to your roofing company compromises the integrity of your roof once they've altered the original roof (material). The owner, Chris James, responded initially but tried to deny any fault at all. The builder's roofing company

Chris and Juan went out of their way to get a system installed by Swan Solar, who are no longer in this business, reporting out to the dashboard on the internet so I could review the status and performance of my system. I must say that for no charge they upgraded the module and persevered with some connectivity issues until it was working perfectly. There are not too many businesses around that would do this so I give them five stars for customer service. Thank you Chris and Juan.

Top notch company-superior customer service. We built our relationship with Active Solar over the course of about a year, as we were trying to make an increasingly unreliable Fronius product reliable. Juan, of Active Solar, worked with us all the way through-making service calls in a timely fashion, and educating us on the issues. We just replaced our Fronius inverters with a SMA. We had considered going solar for some time. After a lot of consideration and several meetings with other companies, we decided to use Active Solar. Chris took the time to explain all the facets of the system he was going to design for us, all the way down to providing us with information on our pool heating and options as well.
