Payment of legal fees varies depending upon the type of case. We take certain types of cases on a contingency fee basis which means that if there is no monetary recovery, you owe us nothing for our services. We take other types of cases on an hourly basis, and you may be required to pay a retainer amount in advance to be credited against the time spent on your case.
Susan has been with the firm since 2003, becoming a partner in 2016. Susan's major practice areas include Estates and Estate Planning, Agricultural Law and Family Law. Susan is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in the area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.

Additionally, Matthew maintains a general practice, which includes, Landlord-Tenant Law, Family Law, and Estates, meeting the needs of his clients in a range of legal matters throughout Central and Southeastern Ohio.
Laura joined Gottlieb, Johnston, Beam & Dal Ponte, PLL in Zanesville, Ohio in 2019. Laura was first admitted to the practice of law in 1996 and is licensed in New Jersey, New York and Ohio, in both state and federal courts.
