My wife and I had reservations at the hotel middle of October, when we wished to upgrade to a cabin the owners were very accommodating! We really enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfy and the cabin was clean and spacious. Wonderful view of mountains from porch. Very courteous staff. Will definitely return!

I called about a month ago and requested reservations for 2 nights, when I arrived at Dover Inn, the Desk Attendant indicated she couldn't find my reservation for two queen size bed, we were offered 2 full size bed in room 105, both beds were terrible, the mattresses were too old and needing replacement. Other than that experience, the area around Dover TN, was really nice.

The motel is nothing fancy, but it is clean, and the owners (who bought the motel just a month ago or so) are so personable and welcoming. Suggestions...replace the thin scratchy towels as well as the rusty shower curtain rod and you will have a much nicer place. My room also stank of smoke, but I opened the window and it aired out quite nicely and by the time I left it no longer held that smell. Affordable, close to Fort Donelson National Battlefield and Land Between the Lakes, this is a good location!

We are here for three nights biking on the underground railroad route for a 1000 miles. This is a perfect location for a good rest, all amenities with in walking distance. Our cabin is clean and well stocked. I was grateful that the new owners have high standards at a responsible price and the hospitality is none other.
The ambiance from our cabin is wonderful and quiet, we look out and see beautiful mountains full of lush greenery. We love this part of the country.
