Services
Here's Patty and Tom, our father daughter team of design engineers. We know our products beyond the data sheets. While other companies struggle with finding experienced and talented solar designers, we've already been there - with every product we sell and system we design. We don't have to guess at what you need; we already know what will work for you and your particular needs.
We also carry a great variety of small solar panels ranging from 5-watt output to 195-watt. Solar Biz is here to help you! We offer a large variety of the world's top manufacturers of solar panel mounting equipment.
72-cell or 144-split-cell solar panels (modules) are generally the same width as 60-cell or 120-split-cell solar panels allowing the same number of rails for racking, but they feature 2 extra rows of solar cells which add to the length of the module.

OFF GRID ONLY INVERTERS: Are battery-based inverters. There are two possibilities for off grid inverter systems Either AC Coupled or DC where a charge controller sends DC power to your battery bank, then an inverter converts the DC to AC for the home. GRID-TIE INVERTERS: Grid-tie systems have no batteries, DC power from the Solar Panels goes straight to the inverter, then is used in the home as regular house AC power.
It is the inverter's job to convert DC electricity from your battery to 120- or 120/240-volts AC electricity to run all of your regular home appliances, all without making it necessary to start a generator. Additionally, the most common off-grid inverters can charge your batteries from a stand-by generator.
There's nothing worse than planning to wire up your power panel on the weekend only to find you don't quite understand the factory manual, or worse yet you forgot to get all the required small parts. If it's the weekend there's no tech support to call and if it's off-grid, you are probably fifty miles down a bad road from the now closed electrical supply house.
