Spinal surgery is generally used to correct anatomical issues that cause pain symptoms in the neck/arm or back/leg areas. Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a relatively rare type of chronic pain that usually impacts an arm or leg. Nerves in the neck that become pinched or irritated can cause symptoms of pain, weakness, or numbness that radiate into.
Services
If you take a trip to the doctor or have to miss work, chances are it's because of back pain, a leading cause of disability throughout the world. In fact, most people will experience back pain at least once in their life. But it doesn't have to become chronic. You can take measures to prevent or alleviate pain in most incidences.
Bursae are small, fluid-filled sacs that facilitate smooth movement of muscle over bone as you move. Bursitis is a painful condition where these sacs become inflamed. Common treatments for bursitis include rest, icing joints, elevating the afflicted body part, and pain relievers. However, if symptoms become severe, further medical intervention may be required.
Facet joint disease (sometimes called facet joint syndrome or osteoarthritis) paint in joints between the vertebrae in your spine; the joints that allow your back to move and twist. Facet joint disease can be a result of aging, excessive pressure on the facet joints, or injury. Treatment can include medication, physical therapy, and sometimes surgery.
Leg pain has many causes. For instance, it may result from traumatic injuries like those obtained while playing sports. It may also be related to blood vessels, nerves, muscles, joints, soft tissue, or bones. The type of treatment a doctor may recommend will depend on the cause. Often, leg pain can be treated at home, but if your pain is sudden, severe, persistent, or occurs alongside other symptoms, you may require medical intervention.
Your neck is comprised of several vertebrae bones, ligaments, and muscles extending from the skull to the upper torso. And between the vertebrae are shock absorbing pieces of tissue called cervical discs. All of these components allow your neck to act as a support to your head and permit movement. Abnormalities, inflammation, or injury to this area can cause pain or stiffness in the neck.

They do not answer phone calls, and the way they communicate is misleading. If things do not change, like answering for a simple appointment! We are talking our business elsewhere smh.

Dr. Borshch and his staff are amazing! I've been in severe pain due to my lower back for over a month now. They managed to get me in quickly and stabilize my pain. Insurance pushed back on the MRI that he ordered, and his staff stepped up and is fighting for me to get the tests I need. I highly recommend going here if you are having back issues!

Guess I didnt get the same doctor that everyone else got. They did not listen to me, not one bit. First visit I was told I would be sedated for the spinal injection, after waiting for well over an hour and a half with no explanation I finally got it done, with no sedation. I almost passed out on the table. Horrible experience. Next was a phone follow up, I told them the injection only gave me relief for about 2 days, and that I was not interested in getting anymore, the nurse told the doctor this and she called me back and I told them from the beginning that I would rather take pain meds as they

My wife Kenitra has had major issues with her fibromyalgia and back pain, due to being his by a car. We've seen multiple pain specialists all over the United States because I'm an active duty Marine of 23yrs and whenever my wife had to get to know a new doctor there was always preconceived notions and timidness for her to receive good care. The care that she's gotten from Dr Ivan Fom is second to none! He takes time out to listen to her and truly cares about her and his other patients. Since she's been going to him her quality of life has improved and she's happier! I'm so grateful that she found

I received the best trigger point injections ever and the doctor was very nice and still asks me how I'm doing after.
Update: I would recommend Dr. Ivan Fom to anyone! I'm a military dependent and we have moved SEVERAL, more than 10, times to different states and countries. I've dealt with severe pain the whole 21yrs and Dr. Fom has been one of the best pain doctors I've ever been to. His LPN Alicia is also wonderful and I greatly appreciate them all. They know me every time I go in, no matter which office. Thank you all.
I just wanted to update that Dr Fom is still providing exceptional care

Dr. Fom is the best. He's knowledgable and his bedside manner is excellent. It's nice to not get treated like just another case. Dr. Fom actually gets to know his patients. He will even let you pick the playlist to ease your anxiety during a procedure. The ladies that assist Dr.Fom are great as well as the front desk, schedulers, and nurse. I gave them a hard time when I first started going there (sorry) but they are great. Wait time here is minimal and its pretty easy to get same week appointments.

I am very happy with Dr Borshch and the staff at the Westover Hills office; I've not been to the other office, nor have I seen Dr Fom. After many years seeing another popular pain mgmt Dr, where I felt like a dollar bill with a number on an assembly line, it's so nice to feel like my Dr cares and is actually trying to get to the bottom of my myriad pain issues. Dr Borshch and his staff are always asking me questions, making eye contact, waiting for, and then actually listening to my answer. The staff is friendly and down to Earth, yet effective and professional. They offer the option of sedation

Been a patient for over 6 month! Dr Fom is awesome, the only pain clinic in town where I didn't have to wait for over an hour to be seen. The ONLY Pain clinic in town that listened and injected in the PROPER area to relieve pain that actually worked! Give it a 1 day heads up to refill medication.
